Reviews for Grand Hyatt Denver

Great hotel with a fantastic bar and restaurant

Great, reasonably priced hotel with great amenities. The parking was a bit pricey but the restaurant and room were very reasonable for the value.

I would suggest giving the Grand Hyatt a try. Our experience was A+ from the staff, the room, the food and the drinks. HIgh end all the way!

Wonderful stay in Denver

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

I stayed here with my husband and my twin sister. Ahead of my stay, I contacted the hotel to let them know my sister would be arriving before me and to make sure she could check in. I also mentioned that we were starting off our birthday celebration during our stay. When my sister checked in, they upgraded our room to a higher floor/ better room. We also got voucher for some goodies in the market downstairs. The staff was so welcoming and kind! Our room was comfortable, clean, and I really enjoyed the toiletries. The bed was sooo comfortable. The location was so convenient. I walked through the gym and they had a decent amount of equipment. I used the rooftop track which was a really cool amenity- never seen that before!! Overall we had a wonderful stay. Thank you to the staff for making it extra special!

Not worth the price...

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I have a few challenges with the hotel experience. I booked a king bed room, upon check in the front desk mentioned that they had booked me a handicap accessibility room, would I mind giving it up (for someone who may need it) without any hesitation YES, my sister had special needs so I know how important this is. The room they offered me was two queens... BUT for a $12 a night (for two nights = $24) more I can still have a king room... I didn't understand why when THEY booked the handicap room which they asked me to forfeit why I had to pay for the additional fee for a higher floor level - not making a fuss or a big deal for the two queens I said that it was fine, the secondary issue with all this is that this hotel is already expensive to stay at for the two night AND two drinks at the bar an old fashion with a call liquor (bullet rye) BEFORE tip was $44! Insane YET they wanted to charge me for a $12 night upgrade and yet I paid $49 total from TWO drinks... Lastly, the lack of a proper dining experience was disappointing to say the least. I would not recommend this hotel - the value received was not on par for the price, and nickel and dime for their booking issues.
