Our stay at Niyama Private Islands was incredible, with exceptional service and breathtaking surroundings. Special thanks to Zaid, our Thakuru (butler), and Frankie, Chief of Staff for Housekeeping, who made sure every detail was perfect. The staff, in general, were outstanding—always friendly and accommodating. We stayed for just 4 days, a short but perfect amount of time to enjoy the resort. Even with some rain, there was plenty to do, including tennis and badminton, which Zaid helped arrange. We also loved snorkeling with the free snorkel gear—the marine life was vibrant and easily accessible. We had a minor issue with moisture in our beach villa due to the monsoon season. While the villa was beautiful, we upgraded to a newly renovated Deluxe Overwater Villa for a small extra fee, which was absolutely worth it—spacious, modern, and offering stunning ocean views. We did experience a 5-hour wait for our domestic flight transfer, but this was beyond the resort's control. It would have been helpful to know this in advance to time our arrival better. However, the amazing staff made up for it, especially by arranging a seaplane back to the airport so we could stay a bit longer. Thank you, Zaid, for organizing this! The seaplane ride was the perfect ending to our stay, offering breathtaking views. The spa was excellent, and we were advised to book in advance, which was the right move. We also opted for half board, dining at BLU and Epicure, both offering great buffets and breakfast. The Subsix lunch experience was expensive but worth every penny for the unique atmosphere, and NEST provided a fantastic dinner experience with great service. We didn’t have time for watersports or diving this trip, but we’ll definitely be back to enjoy these activities. Snorkeling was a highlight, with vibrant marine life just steps from our villa. A huge thank you to Arti and Hussain from the reservations team for their excellent coordination. We also want to apologize to the incredible staff whose names we forgot—you surely knew ours, and we are grateful for everything you did to make our stay unforgettable. In summary, Niyama Private Islands is a true paradise, and despite a few minor issues, the excellent service and surroundings made it a trip we’ll cherish forever. Thank you, Niyama! We just came back from 9 fantastic days at Niyama Maldives, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Everything was perfect for a family vacation — the resort offers the perfect balance between luxury and a relaxed atmosphere. We felt comfortable and pampered every single day. A special thank you to our butler, Zaid, who took such wonderful care of us throughout our stay. He was attentive, kind, and always available to make sure everything went smoothly. Thanks to him, our stay was even more amazing. We can’t recommend Niyama enough — it’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy, and create beautiful memories with your loved ones.
