Bang average
We went on June 26th for a week but was really disappointed.Had the half board package and booked a few restaurants where we had to pay a supplement just to get in but upon arrival this had doubled so for 4 of us this was now 600 dirham for the Indian. We then booked the Asian restaurant when the hotel cancelled our booking hours before without giving us a reason so reception told us as we had a under 16 in our party she had to be out by 9pm, our daughter is 16 which we had to prove by her passport, pretty pathetic isn’t it. We arrived to find that they were very young kids in the restaurant way past 10pm. The pool staff are lazy are hate to put up or down your umbrella but are very happy to take your money when you want a drink.You can’t take the drinks out by the pool if you buy them in happy hour so you have to sit in a stuffy blowfish restaurant with no air con. The sunbeds are wedged in so you cannot breathe plus we brought a ball and was told it’s to heavy😩. Worst was to come when we came back from the pool and our bathroom had a leak which they fixed and the hotel manager a Mr Seangrass offered us a drinks package for the duration of our meal. On leaving my wife was stopped saying we had 1 drink to many and had to pay as we were only allowed 3 drinks each. I refused and called Mr Seangrass a Lier through the phone as he wouldn’t come out to speak, absolutely outrageous behaviour. Overall there are better hotels on the palm than this run down place so please be aware it’s just a money making joint

Good experience
Fairmont staff are very welcoming, Antonella & Rodgers was friendly and very polite, however hotel could do with a waterpark for the kids making it more family friendly, however does the job, food is good but paying for water with your evening meals is crazy to me!!! Big shout out to Nur Zulkifli who sorted out an upgraded room because there was an issue with the first one!!!
