Disappointed having previously stayed there and thought it was amazing. The Place is in desperate need of refurbishment

We visited The Residence late September / early October and what a wonderful place. We’ve been coming to Dubai for nearly 20 years and stayed in a lot of hotels (including O&O Palace and The Palm) and this place tops the lot for service and luxury. We arrived after an early flight and were whisked off to breakfast by Prisca, no sitting around the hotel for hours here waiting for your room to be ready. Prisca and her team are all wonderful, so friendly and Bertina spoke to us most mornings at breakfast making sure everything was ok. Our room was lovely, only the basic deluxe but had everything we needed, including a milk frother for my daily cappuccino, now that was a first ! We were close to the beach and our host Patrick was very friendly and checked in with us in person most days to make sure everything was fine. We had a lot of our meals in the Dining Room where a special mention goes to Mr Anas, Jomin, Suzanne, Dia and Mohammed. Apologies to other staff members missed off each of the were so lovely, helpful and very polite and are a credit to the One and Only. We spent our days at the beach with our own cabana and were regularly given water, fruit, ice cream and even crisps in a cool box. Again here the beach staff were really friendly and nothing too much trouble for them. We also chatted to the chef several times who was a very nice chap and told us about the new afternoon tea, “chocolate and spice” which we tried and we loved. We loved The Residence, there was a fabulous breakfast each morning, we had some lovely meals and even went off menu one evening when the chef cooked us a Biryani. We had drinks most evenings in The Library, which is a lovely setting but sadly this area is under used and was a little quiet, perhaps introduce sundowners or a weekly cocktail party as at The Palm which is a nice way to meet other guests. The grounds are immaculate, everywhere is pristine and a special mention to housekeeping who always did a great job. We also took advantage of the complimentary spa experience and used the gym most days, We also dined at a few of the other restaurants including Tagine where Mr Anas had arranged for us to meet the chef and discuss what we fancied to eat, this was a great evening. We chatted to other couples, and many of them return year after year as they loved it too, we are already planning our visit next year to this very special place.

My family and I received exceptional guest service support from the start to the finish of our stay. Every member of your team we encountered was helpful, welcoming, friendly, respectful and efficient. Your guest services team on the front desk at Arabian Court, Dubai were the absolute best, every one of them!! Both Preshna and Christian were absolutely first class. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always happy to assist with any query/request that we had. Plse thank them again. I must also mention Maroof from the Conceirge Team. He was so kind and does a fine job for your hotel. We split our holiday across Arabian Court and The Palace - both were exceptional hotels. Clean, beautifully appointed, and well service. The accommodation never feels over crowded, even when they near full capacity. A lovely sense of calm and quality across the Dubai Jumeirah resort. We met and spoke with a number of your management team at both Arabian Court, The Residence and The Palace - I’m afraid I can’t remember all their names and some are missed from the names I mention here but again, full marks across the board. We were welcomed and treated so nicely by them all: Binod Dahl, Anna Emelianova, the Head Chef in the Rotisserie Arabian court. Wonderful food - the breakfast are great - something for everyone. Also,a mention for Alseef from your Pool Attendants Team who is very guest focused. Thank you all for a providing us a fabulous holiday. We would not hesitate to return the One & Only (any one of them in the Jumeirah beach complex for a high quality holiday. Thank you very much
