Home away from Home I had a wonderful stay at The St. Regis Palm Jumeirah. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and impeccably maintained, but what truly makes the difference is the people. A special mention goes to the Housekeeping team, led by RUKMA with Faruk and Shankar who were absolutely outstanding — attentive, discreet, and incredibly detail-oriented. Every day the room felt perfectly cared for. Equally exceptional was the team at Cordelia: professional, welcoming, and genuinely warm. Their attention and service made every visit a pleasure and added a personal touch that really elevates the experience. A refined hotel with a fantastic team behind it — I very much look forward to returning.

Stayed here for 3 nights in December 2025 between the Qatar and Abu Dhabi F1 GPs and overall really like the hotel. Starting with the highlights: Service is exceptional, everyone from the doormen to the restaurant staff is extremely kind, professional and courteous - particularly the staff at the breakfast stood out here. The rooms are also very nice: Decent size, very nice design, and of course very clean. We only had breakfast here, so can’t talk about the other restaurants and dinner option, but breakfast was truly amazing. There are so many buffet options and some egg dishes to order à la carte as well. So, rooms, service, breakfast are all great. When it comes to location, your mileage may vary. It really depends on what you’re looking for. The hotel is located right at the “stem” of The Palm. It’s next to The Palm Jumeirah Mall, which also has a monorail station that goes to the Atlantis/Aquaventure at the end of the palm. So that’s of course quite convenient. But at the same time, the hotel only occupies the lower 18 floors of the building and views aren’t great and often blocked. So if you think you might see the entire Palm from your room - you won’t. There are rooftop pools and observation decks available that give you a better view but also cost another $50-150 per person. If you’re in Dubai for sightseeing, you’ll also be quite far (~12 miles / ~20km) away from sights like Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Museum of the Future, Dubai Creek, etc. So it really depends on what you’re looking for. All in all, very nice, modern, luxurious hotel. Would I stay here again? Depends on what I’m in town for.

We always have a wonderful time at the St. Regis The Palm. This was our third stay, and we will definitely be back. The location on the Palm creates a truly relaxing holiday atmosphere. What really makes each stay special is also the staff. Everyone is genuinely friendly, attentive, and always willing to accommodate any request to ensure you feel comfortable and well taken care of. We would especially like to commend Vaniga and Thian, who have been exceptional throughout our stay. Their professionalism, warm attitude, and ability to anticipate our needs made a remarkable difference and truly elevated our experience. Overall, another fantastic stay — we look forward to returning soon.

We stayed at The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm for four nights after changing our plans mid-trip, following an exceptional stay at another St. Regis property in Qatar. We loved our time there so much that we decided to continue the experience in Dubai - however, this property felt very different. The lobby is grand and luxurious, but very busy….it does not have the calm, private, secluded feel that you may expect. Check-in: We arrived early, and our room was ready after a short 15-minute wait, which was appreciated. However, the check-in experience felt disjointed and rushed. There was no welcome drink or small touch to set the tone, everything just felt quite hectic. It lacked the calm, polished, and personal feel we’ve come to expect from St. Regis. Room: The room itself was spectacular - large, modern, and beautifully designed. Floor-to-ceiling windows offered stunning views, and the bathroom was a real highlight, featuring glass walls that could switch from clear to frosted at the touch of a button. The bed was incredibly comfortable, furnishings were high-end, and the smart lighting made everything feel very modern and luxurious. We also appreciated the thoughtful anniversary gift waiting for us on arrival. Turn-down service was provided daily yet inconsistent, with some days an evening treat provided, others not. Resort & Facilities: The property feels ultra-luxurious and modern, with a great onsite bar (with very friendly staff!) and easy access to a range of high-end restaurants within the St. Regis Gardens area, plus direct access to the mall for shopping, groceries, and casual dining. There are two beautiful infinity pools overlooking The Palm - one with a bar and attendants, the other quieter without one. Push-button service was available poolside, although it wasn’t as attentive as we’ve experienced at other St. Regis properties. Still, the pool areas felt calm, comfortable, and exclusive – there was also a small fruit treat brought around whilst we were there on one occasion, but sadly in the 4 days, we only experienced this once. Service & Experience: Unfortunately, this is where our stay fell short. We encountered several small issues - the TV stopped working multiple times, and the shower leaked - but more notably, the signature St. Regis Butler Service didn’t meet expectations. At St. Regis Doha, the butler service was personal, proactive, and memorable. Here, while requests via WhatsApp and email were handled promptly, there was little personal engagement or effort to get to know us. A few treats were delivered to our room, which we appreciated, but it didn’t match the warmth or attention to detail we’d previously experienced. Although we could not fault the service, speed, responsiveness and quality…..it just lacked the personal touch, warmth, care and that special VIP treatment. We felt it was important to share our feedback with the Hotel Manager, hoping for some recognition of the issues. While they kindly arranged a complimentary car to our next destination as a form of apology - which was appreciated - it didn’t make up for what was ultimately a disappointing four-day experience, considering the price point, and expectation of what you come to expect when staying at such a property, of such name. Overall: The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm is a stunning property with beautiful rooms and facilities, but the service simply didn’t live up to the St. Regis name or price point in our opinion. If this had been our first St. Regis stay, we may not have rushed back - but based on our outstanding experience in Doha, we’ll give the brand another try elsewhere and hope this was just a one-off.
