Bucket list
We had a lovely weekend. From the minute we arrived all staff we met were incredibly kind and courteous and extremely helpful. The young man who seated us for breakfast and used my name remembered and used it the next day - simple things mean a lot. Remember to eat in the Saddle room - wonderful food. This trip was to tick off a bucket list and also to celebrate a significant birthday and the Shelbourne staff and building made it a very memorable experience in fact I might put it back on my bucket list for another trip

Lovely location & historic beauty
Book the room you want. No upgrades here with ambassador status. I was in a king room overlooking the center of the bldg brick wall next to the elevators. Hotel is quite lovely with a great location. Very clean. Check in team wasn’t very accommodating one member of our party was given a suite upgrade at noon. I was told no upgrade & wait til 3 pm for a call. Not consistent. That said, location was not to be beat.

Nice stay!
“It was a very enjoyable experience! Staff was friendly. Food was great! Location was excellent!.”Breakfast was great and you can order off the menu as well as buffet. It was surprisingly affordable by today’s standards. Bellman and doormen were very attentive. Luggage arrived to room very quickly.

Memorable stay!
We had a fabulous one night stay at The Shelborne. My first visit to Ireland over 20 years ago, my first stay was at The Shelbourne. It was great to return! The front desk staff, bellmen, and waitstaff were all outstanding. There is so much history and beauty at the Shelbourne! We loved the upgraded suite which made our stay even more memorable. Can’t wait to return!

Superb experience from start to finish
We stayed here for our wedding in April 2025 and the hotel and staff were absolutely superb. Our meal was beautiful, service excellent, and everyone went out of their way to make our stay special. Could not recommend more. The breakfast was also fantastic!
