Rixos Premium Dubrovnik

Beautiful hotel, from the moment we entered we were met by friendly, polite staff who were very helpful throughout our stay. Our room was very spacious and clean with great toiletries. The pool area is fantastic with lots of comfy sunbeds and chairs around the sea wall, the spa is also very good with extra amenities not seen in previous hotel spas. The breakfast was excellent, especially the pastries, every item you could think for breakfast was available and very tasty. The hotel is perfectly sited a short 20 minute walk into the Old Town. As we had a 7 day Dubrovnik pass we used the buses to come and go, we found walking to the cross roads was better than waiting for the Nos 4, as you could catch any bus into and out of the Old Town without waiting. The Rixos is a perfect base for visiting Dubrovnik as you are very close but with the feel of a relaxing bases to return to for a pool day, best of both worlds for us.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rixos—everything about the experience exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive, making me feel genuinely valued as a guest, especially deniz and others too. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful surroundings and a relaxing atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. My room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a perfect stay. The views were breathtaking and added that extra touch of luxury. The facilities were excellent, especially the pool and spa areas, which were well-maintained and peaceful. The food was another highlight—delicious, fresh, and with plenty of variety to suit all tastes. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. I highly recommend Rixos to anyone looking for a relaxing and high-quality stay.

Very nice hotel, nicely situated, helpful staff, especially Pamela. Food was good, lovely and clean, great views, more of a 4* plus than a 5 star, minor tweaks all round would make it a 5*.

I visited Croatia for my honeymoon and stayed for three nights at Rixos Premium Dubrovnik. Although the location is a bit far from the Old Town, it didn’t matter at all. The view from the room was absolutely stunning and truly unforgettable. One of the highlights was being able to swim directly in both the pool and the sea. Every evening, we enjoyed watching football matches at the sports bar while having a beer—it was the perfect way to end each day. During our stay, I accidentally broke a wine glass, but when I requested cleaning, Housekeeping staff Milan kindly assisted us. His response was very warm and professional. Also, the cute towel elephant left in the room made us smile—it was such a lovely touch. Overall, it was the perfect honeymoon experience while staying in Dubrovnik. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.

The best thing about the hotel were the super friendly staff, especially at reception, who greeted us every time we walked past and gave a couple of good local restaurant recommendations . Room was clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting in the lobby bar veranda with the stunning view of the coastline, and also enjoyed lounging on the pool deck. Pools and spa looked wonderful although we did not have time to enjoy. Turquoise Restaurant had a wonderful breakfast buffet, although some hot items were not kept warm (cold eggs Benedict anyone?). Pastries were top notch, and lots of fruit and vegetables on offer as well as more usual hot choices. The evening buffet was also excellent, and while we thought it was expensive at first, the quality and variety won us over. Leave room for at least three desserts!!! We were less happy with the Greek restaurant, which had only just opened for the season, and I think had not yet hit its stride. We found it expensive for what it was. Cakes in the lobby were also expensive…but complex and delicious so actually not bad value. We felt we had a luxurious and comfortable stay, and would return, but would eat out more. Buses are available just up the hill, taxi from the old town €18, Uber €8.
