Just go and experience it yourself. The location is just nonplussed. The Hotel is top-notch and there's always something to see there.

Excellent hotel in Dusseldorf
Best hotel to stay. Breakfast buffet is fantastic and the team is very service minded. We always return to this hotel when visiting Dusseldorf. Easy parking and a nice walk along the Rhein to the city center/Altstad

Everything Nice… Except for Location.
The place was nice, everything was nice, but it was in a very bad spot. It was at the end of the tram line and took at least 20 minutes to go anywhere interesting. I would only recommend going here if your intention is to go to the hotel as a stand alone resort without the plan to go anywhere in the city.

The hotel is just lovely from the moment you walk in the door it is everything that makes the Hyatt. The rooms are just beautiful with amazing views everything you expect and more. The staff are amazing and friendly. The restaurants are just stunning.

Superb view over the Rhine
Hyatt Regency Dusseldorf is a little distant from Königsallee but still in a short drive from there. It is an ultra-modern 19-story tower with a fully windowed facade at the tip of Media Harbour's peninsula. I appreciated a quick and simple check-in ;) I really enjoyed the superb panoramic view over the Rhine, clean and accommodated room with all the necessary facilities. Special thanks for forest fruit tea I could enjoy in my room after a cold weather city walk. I will definitely recommend Hyatt Regency to all my friends who will be travelling to Dusseldorf.
