100 Princes Street

Our junior suite had a view of the castle. It was snowing when we arrived - talk about magical. I definitely see the inspiration for Hogwarts! The interior of the hotel is breathtaking and is furnished with every amenity imaginable. I absolutely loved the heated floor in the bathroom. Service was outstanding. Every night when the housekeeper came for turndown, she brought us a homemade sweet treat. The location is fantastic .

We visited 100 Princess Street for the first time this month for a long weekend celebrating my partner's 60th birthday. From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted with a very warm welcome from everyone that worked there which continued all weekend. We have stayed in a lot of nice hotels but both agreed this was the best one. Our room was fantastic with views of the castle and had everything we needed. Even a small birthday cake was a lovely surprise waiting for my partner. The breakfast was fantastic. The staff went beyond to make sure you had everything you needed. We only stayed 3 nights and wished it could have been longer. We will definitely return.

An exceptional luxury stay at 100 Princes Street. From the moment you arrive, the hotel feels discreet, elegant, and impeccably curated — a true sanctuary in the heart of Edinburgh. The room was beautifully designed and wonderfully cozy, with a refined, residential feel that prioritises comfort and calm. Waking up to glimpses of Edinburgh Castle only added to the sense of place and occasion. What truly defines this hotel is its service. Every member of staff delivers the gold standard of hospitality — polished yet warm, attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely invested in making the stay seamless. Hannah, Ella, Díarmaíd, and Rory were absolutely exceptional at what they do! (If I could recall everyone's name I interacted with I would list them too!) The atmosphere throughout is refined and unhurried, making it effortless to relax and indulge. A flawless example of modern luxury and a hotel I would return to without hesitation!

We’ve stayed at incredible resorts and hotels across the world, from Four Seasons Bora Bora to The Ritz Paris to Breakers Palm Beach and dozens more in between. 100 Princes Street has been a top 5 stay for my wife and me, and beyond a shadow of a doubt, we will be back. Dario and his team treated me so well in educating me on whiskeys and giving me a truly special tasting experience. I was not well versed in the world of whiskey going into this trip, but I feel much more comfortable and confident going forward with whiskeys. We also greatly appreciated Gill who took care of us 3 out of 4 nights we were there. She made our experience a great one. Petra also was great about getting us a last minute NYE reservation at Bread Street Kitchen, a Sheepdog Demonstration, and a last minute Harry Potter walking tour. Thank you to the team for giving us an experience we won’t forget!

This hotel is one of the loveliest ove ever seen. I felt welcomed by the attentive and accommodating staff, in particulat Anais. I will definitely look forward to returning!
