100 Princes Street

I have traveled to Edinburgh multiple times, but this was my 1st stay at 100 Princes. I will stay here going forward every single time! Not only is the interior stunning, the food fantastic, but the staff is warm, engaging, professional, and attentive. I happen to have been traveling with my 75-year-old father who had never been outside the US. From the moment we walked in, Allister handled our luggage, had us brought to reception, and made us feel welcome. Once we arrived at check-in, champagne and a snack arrived and Ellie checked us in. She was so friendly and made my dad feel special. We were about 6 hours early and although rooms were not ready, they took care of us. Once rooms were ready, Ellie very patiently showed us each room and how to operate everything. The gin martini that the bartenders made each night were superb. Breakfast was equally delicious. From the moment we arrived until we departed, 100 Princes far exceeded all expectations. It was absolutely marvelous. Highly recommend it!!! Thank you to the team; you are PHENOMENAL!

We loved the boutique feel of the hotel, the location is very convenient with a great view of the castle. The staff was excellent, polite , and extremely helpful, and the hotel pays attention to small details. We would highly recommend it.

This felt like the home I would love to live in- exceptional service in a very low key luxury way- every amenity , Scottish porridge for breakfast, exceptional wine and scotch list and the most attentive, genuine team- don’t miss this gem while in Edinburgh

100 Princes is a must experience! It sits at the base of Edinburgh Castle and is a hidden gem. We were welcomed by a team that swept our luggage to our room as we registered in a comfortable and well appointed room that serves as a gathering point, bar, and dining area. The limited number of rooms ensures each guest feels valued. Our room was beautifully decorated creating a cosy and welcoming sanctuary. The attention to detail was unparalleled from the embroidery on towels, sheets, and even slippers to the treats left each evening. The food was exceptional with a great variety for both breakfast and dinner. We also had the most unique whisky tasting you can imagine. The knowledge shared and the three whiskeys we tasted will live with me for the rest of my life. Don’t miss out on this experience! Check out the tasting menu. With all that I have shared, I haven’t even mentioned the best part, and that is the team. They are the most kind, caring, and attentive people. They really do care about the details and went out of their way to ensure our stay exceeded all expectations. I will fondly remember this special place and the outstanding people that make it so special..
