Dunkeld House Hotel

I loved this hotel! Such a beautiful location on the River Tay! A lovely walk along the river into the charming village of Dunkeld. I would definitely return. The grounds and decor were so Scottish.

Lovely boutique hotel in Edinburgh

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

The Bonham is a beautiful boutique hotel in a lovely, quiet part of Edinburgh. The location is quiet but close to all of the sights in Edinburgh. The decor is rich but comfortable. Service was wonderful. Our included breakfast was delicious and included an extensive buffet and hot ordered items. Our room and bathroom were small but well appointed, overlooking the park. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. Our only complaint was our room and the whole hotel were overheated. The window in our room did open (and the park side of the hotel was very quiet) and we had a fan we used the second night which made the room comfortable.

The Bonham Hotel Edinburgh is top notch

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

I rate The Bonham very highly. On a quiet street with parking if you have a car, and a two block walk from the airport tram West End platform if you want to forego a taxi to or from the airport. It's a neighborhood with several consular offices occupying the Georgian era edifices typical of the area. As a traveler I loved the ambience of the Bonham Hotel, I felt I was in Europe. As a tourist, it is a lovely walk through the park to get to The Mile, or to a walk along the Water of Leith. So much within walking distance. And the other half, which would not be the same without, is the friendly, amenable, competent, and knowledgeable staff that somehow anticipates your wishes. Top people throughout. Our room was spacious with a killer view of the Firth of Forth in the distance. Room service was available after all the walking during the day. I got hooked on the full Scottish breakfast each morning but a full breakfast menu, Hot or Continental, is on tap. Coffee/Tea options in the room. Wonderfully hospitable stay in safe, friendly, beautiful, eye-popping and eye-opening Edinburgh. This place has charisma.

Amazing Boutique Hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

This hotel is Edinburgh’s little hidden gem. It is a gorgeous boutique hotel nestled in such a safe and leafy area close to restaurants and the city centre, The staff could not have done more to be welcoming and helpful. This is rarity these days!

Nice experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

Beautiful property with warm and thoughtful staff. Beds were very hard but they put pillow toppers on the mattresses which made it better for sleeping. Location was good for walking and site seeing. We loved our time at this property and in Edinburgh.
