Went for lunch today with my son.!Disappointed that a traditional Sunday Roast wasn’t not offered on their Snoozy Boozy lunch menu. What was offered was well Presented and tasty especially the duck confit and crème caramel. Surprised no additional vegetables offered when considering the price. It was good but just lacked that special quality for a five star review. Sunday lunch should be a roast!!

Lovely stay in a traditional hotel away from the hustle and noise but close enough to walk to all the sites and plenty of local restaurants. Service and food was excellent, rooms very comfortable and spacious. I would prefer a shower rather than shower above a bath but that's my own preference.

The Bonham is a beautiful hotel perfectly located. The interior is stunning with an extensive art collection throughout the hotel. Whilst it is grand it is extremely welcoming and comfortable, you'll look forward to returning to the hotel after exploring the city. The breakfast experience was disappointing on our most recent stay but previously has been a highlight so hopefully just a blip. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

The hotel is beautiful but was let down in areas and certainly didn't feel 5 star. We checked in on Friday for our 10th wedding anniversary and should have had a bottle of champagne in our room on arrival - nothing. Room was nice until I went into the bathroom - the bin hadn't been emptied from the previous guests and contained hair and used cotton pads and the dressing gowns hanging on the back of the bathroom door had large obvious make up marks over them. I reported these things to reception on the way out that evening - we we got back from dinner it was obvious someone had been in our bathroom as the towels were rehung and things tidied - however they hadn't touched the things I'd complained about. We had drinks in the bar on Saturday evening, nice but it does feel a bit soul less. Breakfast was faultless and quality of food was great. Upon check out we were informed they weren't charging us for a round of drinks at the bar but no reasoning why (we could guess) or apology for issues we'd encountered. When they don't ask how your stay was it's generally because they don't want to hear your answer. Could be great but if they want to be regarded as 5stars then the small touches count.

We really enjoyed our stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Having chosen the hotel for our wedding, everything was fantastic and the staff truly couldn’t do enough for us. A special mention to Emil, who was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. His hospitality was outstanding and he really made a lasting impression on us. The breakfast each morning was marvellous and a great start to the day. The only downside for us is that we had hoped to return next year to celebrate our anniversary, but unfortunately the prices seem to have increased significantly due to the Ireland vs Scotland Six Nations game, making it difficult for us to plan another stay.
