About the Hotel
Important - The Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh – The Caledonian has recently been renamed to The Caledonian Edinburgh, Curio Collection by Hilton. The Caledonian Edinburgh is currently undergoing renovation expected to be completed early 2025. The transformation of the hotel is already well underway and is taking place over a phased approach to ensure we can continue to operate as business as usual.

The best lunch spot for cocktails and spa 😍
Had lunch and cocktails at the hotel, everything was amazing! The room is absolutely gorgeous with a lot of character. After lunch we went to the spa and gym. The girls were super helpful and lovely - thank you Jessica and Sandra 😊 also running on a treadmill while looking at the castle is a great distraction from the pain!

From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The room was cozy and spotless, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in—woke up feeling refreshed every morning. What stood out most was the staff’s incredible hospitality. They went above and beyond to ensure my family felt welcomed and well taken care of, adding personal touches that made our stay truly unforgettable. We left with great memories and can’t wait to return!

The beds and pillows were so comfy. Spent the whole day in my room with a gorgeous view. Great way to recover from a very hectic trip to Paris which was awful. Stacey Anderson went the extra mile for us. She was a ray of sunshine, friendly and caring and you could see that she takes pride for n her work! I will be back!

Excellent stay at the Caledonian Edinburgh.
We had a great two-day stay at the Caledonian Edinburgh. The location, directly across from the Castle and walking distance to the Royal Mile and other attractions, cannot be beat. The hotel itself was well-maintained, and the staff (in particular Jay the concierge) was friendly, helpful, and professional. Thanks for a great visit!

Beautiful hotel and welcoming staff
Beautiful hotel we were met by the doorman who took our luggage escorted us to reception to check in what a luxury experience the front desk staff had upgraded us which we did not expect such a surprise. We were shown to the lifts then went up to our room 304 it was stunning large room with huge windows with a beautiful view of the castle. The staff were so welcoming at front desk. The bed was so luxurious and very comfortable slept very well We had breakfast in the morning what a selection to choose from we were certainly not disappointed at all just sad that we only had a one night stay we will return for longer. Planning our next trip.” The team here make the experience all staff we met were extremely nice and looked after us.
