About the Hotel
Important - The Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh – The Caledonian has recently been renamed to The Caledonian Edinburgh, Curio Collection by Hilton. The Caledonian Edinburgh is currently undergoing renovation expected to be completed early 2025. The transformation of the hotel is already well underway and is taking place over a phased approach to ensure we can continue to operate as business as usual.

Recommended for a luxury Edinburgh stay
I have stayed twice at The Caledonian and it is by far one of my favourite hotels. The staff are excellent and I would highly recommend a room with a view of Edinburgh Castle, it makes your stay feel even more luxurious. The bars and restaurant are good with an excellent choice of whisky. The location is fantastic, in the heart of the city.

Beautiful hotel!! So well located to see all of Edinburgh. Staff was lovely. Th rooms are so nice and the hotel itself is amazing. The restaurant in the hotel is great as well. Definitely recommend!!

An outstanding stay
This is one of the best hotels in the world. The service, quality, attention to detail and the overall experience is absolutely spectacular. We ate in the beautiful restaurant, drank in the charming bar and our room was gorgeous with a view of Edinburgh Castle. My wife and I will remember this trip for a very long time. The Caley is an absolute must if one is staying in Edinburgh!
