About the Hotel
Important - The Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh – The Caledonian has recently been renamed to The Caledonian Edinburgh, Curio Collection by Hilton. The Caledonian Edinburgh is currently undergoing renovation expected to be completed early 2025. Best Christmas stay.
Staywd here for Christmas. Absolutely faultless. Stay. Went above and beyond. Rooms were upgraded for no extra coat. Had 2 rooms and the staff were professional and just could not do enough for you. The building itself is big but beautiful and full of history..the little touch of Christmas stockings on Christmas day was magical hung on the door by Santa. Best Christmas stay we've ever had. Big thankyou to all the team.

The best hotel in Edinburgh!
I was in the hotel recently and I have to say the renovation is stunning! The staff is absolutely incredible and thoughtful and always go out their way to assist. Special thanks to Catherine Fraser, Catherine Hunter, Erin, Emma, Joeseph, Yannic, Laura and Issac. They all made my stay so special and I cannot wait to visit again!

Excellent stay
Excellent location. Beautiful inside, extremely friendly staff and a superb quick and easy check in. All front of staff are very approachable, friendly and offer a warm welcome. Rooms were spacious, and exceptionally clean. Beds and pillows are so comfortable. My husband needed a extra pillow and it was delivered to our room within 5 minutes of requesting. The extra security on the door to stop someone getting in from the outside, is excellent, and provides travellers that extra security and safety. The spa facilities which were included in our stay were superb. Very friendly and helpful staff. The spa was lovely and clean and very relaxing. We had a three night stay and loved the fact our room was attended to each day, milk, water topped up, towels changed beds remade, Beautiful extra touches. We managed to have breakfast twice, both occasions the staff were so attentive, extremely welcoming and cannot do enough for you. Morning staff at breakfast are a credit to your hotel. 12pm checkout was extremely good. We did experience a few issues, during our stay, however they were soon rectified by Yannis, and therefore overall, we had an excellent stay and would highly recommend staying in this hotel.

My stay was truly amazing! The staff made you feel so welcome! Especially in the court were we went for breakfast. Analine and Munirrah and Helen were so wonderful and very helpful! We couldn't ask for a better service! The conceige team were also great! They made you feel very welcome! Our room was so comfortable and very clean everything was so close we wanted to do. We couldn't have asked for a better hotel
