About the Hotel
Important - The Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh – The Caledonian has recently been renamed to The Caledonian Edinburgh, Curio Collection by Hilton. The Caledonian Edinburgh is currently undergoing renovation expected to be completed early 2025. The transformation of the hotel is already well underway and is taking place over a phased approach to ensure we can continue to operate as business as usual.

Best hotel staff in Edinburgh!
Holiday and Celebrating my wife's birthday and spent 7 nights here. The staff was incredible and kind and accomodating. This is one of hte best hotel all around experience we have had. The view of the castle from the hotel is so cool and it is close to everything walking distance or trying to get to to somewhere else. Again great staff! One of the best staff crews I have ever interacted with.

Great property - elegant hotel outside and in. We stayed here almost 20 years ago and went again recently. Incredibly helpful and kind staff, comfortable - and spacious - room (we had a deluxe room) with all amenities. Great breakfast with quite a variety of foods. Central location near all of the sites. The hop on-hop off bus stops right across the street! Couldn’t ask for more!

I love this hotel so much for many different reasons, the breakfast buffet, the amenities, etc. I want to give Elena in housekeeping kudos for making our kids experience very nice by making a towel animal. Additionally, our room was always stocked and clean!
