About the Hotel
Important - The Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh – The Caledonian has recently been renamed to The Caledonian Edinburgh, Curio Collection by Hilton. The Caledonian Edinburgh is currently undergoing renovation expected to be completed early 2025. Fantastic hotel and locality!
My daughter and I had a fantastic 4 day/3 night girly break at this wonderful hotel. The staff in the restaurants, bars, reception and concierge were all extremely welcoming and accommodating. The new Caley bar was lovely on the Friday night, with a DJ. A special call-out to Scott on the front door for his very warm and hospitable manner. He helped us out in many ways and we had lovely chats throughout the day as we came in and out. Always a smile and a lovely greeting. A great credit to your hotel - Susan, Room 501.

Special birthday stay at the Caledonian Hotel
My parents enjoyed a wonderful 3 night stay at the Caledonian Hotel to celebrate a special birthday. The hotel staff were very welcoming and really went above and beyond to make my Mum’s birthday a memorable experience. The breakfasts were delicious, with a fantastic offering, and the room was extremely spacious. The hotel also welcomed my parent’s small dog, which made the trip even more memorable for them! Thanks to the hotel staff for all their care and effort, I highly recommend the hotel for any celebration, or even a city break with a difference!

We had a wonderful stay at The Caledonian Hilton and couldn’t be more satisfied with our experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless and welcoming. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a great atmosphere and excellent service throughout. A special thank you to Eamman, who went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. She was incredibly attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. Thanks to her, our trip became even more enjoyable and memorable. Amazing birthday stay!
We stayed for a night to celebrate my birthday. On arrival we were very kindly upgraded to a castle view room and given complimentary breakfast for us both. Nothing was too much trouble the staff are amazing. The room was really comfortable and some nice little extras in the room and a birthday card. It’s a fantastic location and beautiful building with lots of history. I will definitely return! Thanks for making my birthday even more special! Oh and the breakfast was absolutely delicious especially the salmon!
