About the Hotel
Overlooking one of Edinburgh's prettiest private garden squares, Kimpton Charlotte Square consists of seven interconnecting Georgian townhouses in the heart of the New Town. Our beautifully formed bedrooms and suites are inspired by the golden age of travel and a genuine sense of Scottish hospitality. Sitting proudly in the middle of the hotel is The Garden bar and restaurant, an oasis of calm in the centre of the city. Light and bright during the day for breakfast and lunch, transforming in to a fairy lit hideaway in the evening for cocktails and dinner. Sample our Twilight Tea, a unique take on the classic afternoon tea with a focus on savoury flavours from 12pm to 10pm every day. BABA restaurant is a sumptuous, relaxed journey to the Levant, featuring mezze, charcoal dishes and small plates with bold Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavours perfect for sharing. Cocktails take on the adventurous flavours to continue the journey until late in the BABA bar.

Beautiful hotel
This hotel is somply superb. it is located at the west en of Geaorge street and is perfectly placed for the major sights of the city. It is located in a series of Georgian mansions on the magnificent Charlotte Square. Staff are friendly and efficient. Rooms are beautiful and in perfect keeping with the style of the hotel. Breakfast offers all the choices you could reasonably expect and more besides. I have absolutely not a word of criticism!!

Amazing experience at the Kimpton Charlotte square spa with Bianka
I visited kimpton Charlotte square spa for a mum to be massage. I felt very welcomed the moment I stepped into the spa. Bianka, my therapist that day, had a chat with me before the treatment explaining step by step what was going to happen and she listened to my concerns. The treatment was just what I needed! I felt relaxed and the pressure during the massage was perfect for me. My legs felt so light after! I can't wait to be back again.

Our experience was amazing! The hotel staff all so lovely and helpful. We came to celebrate my wife 50th and the service we received was second to none. Raghda was the best I was emailing her constantly (sorry )arranging my wife’s birthday and nothing was any trouble at all. We have the best room in the hotel. They set up all the decorations for my wife’s birthday thanks Rebecca.I couldn’t have asked for any more.The room, the cleanliness, the staff, the bar, the breakfast, all amazing. We loved every minute in the hotel. The vibe is great and nothing is too much trouble. The building is just so intriguing and different you want to explore. The pool is lovely and the location is central. The social hour is relaxed and again the staff are so friendly. I would highly recommend Thank you

Our experience was amazing! The hotel staff all so lovely and helpful. We came to celebrate my 50th and the service we received was second to none. Rebecca and Raghda are the most amazing people ever. They made my birthday so special I can’t thank them enough. The room, the cleanliness, the staff, the bar, the breakfast, all amazing. We loved every minute in the hotel. The vibe is great and nothing is too much trouble. The building is just so intriguing and different you want to explore. The pool is lovely and the location is central. The social hour is relaxed and again the staff are so friendly. I would highly recommend staying here. I honestly cannot wait to return!!

Excellent hotel in a great location
Lovely stay. Hotel is lovely with friendly, helpful staff. Steve on reception couldn't have been more friendly. Breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect for enjoying the city. We will be back.
