The hidden gem of fitness for Edinburgh. I have never had to utter the words ‘let me know when you’re finished using that machine’, there is always ample opportunity to use all equipment without any crowding. I want to pay special thanks to Jodie Laing, who continues to bring positive energy to the gym day in day out. Whatever he has going on in his life, he always shows up with a smile, no matter the day, no matter the time. Thanks for making the gym something to look forward to, rather than a chore.

Location is just perfect a walking distance from everything. The atmosphere is really chill the rooms are so cozy and clean. The staff is super nice. Especial thanks to Mrs. Raghda for the warm welcoming

Myself and my husband chose The Kimpton due to its location, elegance and great reviews. What we didnt expect was the high level of outstanding service from every member of staff we interacted with. We would especially like to thank Lacey, Mackinley and Cameron, but it would be remiss to not call out all the reception staff including the porters and Spa staff. An added suprise was the "Social event" in the Babar bar where free drinks were served daily between 5-6pm. This was a fabulous opportunity to meet others, learn more about whats on in Edinburgh and enjoy the Hotel's warm amd welcoming bar. We enjoyed multiple visits to the Gym and Spa, taking full advantage of the steam room and sauna. We were facinated by the acceptance of Dogs at The Kimpton of which there were many. Each one so well behaved and quiet you would be hard pushed to know they were there. Having access to a private garden opposite the Hotel was an especially thoughtful touch. Our room was sumptuous, spotless and quiet. Every detail carefully considered and well placed. We cannot wait to visit again and will definitely recommend to our friends.

Excellent hotel; very comfortable. Good bars and restaurants. Convenient central location. But above all the staff were warm, welcoming and attentive. A particular mention for Cameron on the front door who was unfailingly cheerful and helpful.

This property is simply amazing! Me and my girlfriend came from Portugal to visit for 6 nights. We stay in a beautiful room with view to the city Castle. The interiors are stylish yet warm, with a lively glass covered courtyard that acts as the social heart. It’s ideal for design lovers, couples, and city explorers who prioritize atmosphere and feeling at home (they are also pet friendly). The restaurant and the bar “BABA” are simply amazing, they deliver with excellence the greek cuisine and I have to highlight the readiness and sympathy of the staff. Everyone seems so happy to work here and you will feel it in your day-2-day interactions. A special thanks to Miguel from reception, Sophie from the restaurant and Maya (hope this is how it’s written) from the bar, I can’t remember the name of the gentleman who checked me in but we was great with a big warm welcome. Everyone else was also amazing. We were so happy here and will definetely comeback. Thank you!
