Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa

Our stay here was massively disappointing The room was very small with a bathroom in the room not separated With no privacy or ventilation Breakfast was really awful the buffet selection was extremely poor for fresh produce The fruit was limited with slivers of melon which was mostly rind The greek yogurt was bitter with only a bowl of defrosted berries to add to the yogurt not fresh fruit There were no clean dishes or glasses available either morning The counters were strewn with cereal and milk spillage No staff ever cleaned or tidied the area Pastries were small dry and stale The staff member running the area was brusk and rude claiming that we didn’t have breakfast included which made us feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed as he disputed our claims that we had paid for it to be included which we had We chose the hotel to spend our 40th wedding anniversary trip away and we were very excited to stay here as we expected that the hotel would be as advertised The brand clearly does not live up to the hype They are clearly more interested in corporate events rather than individual paying guests which is hugely disappointing it definitely was not a five star experience it was a very expensive 3 star experience

The Hotel did not offer a 5 star experience ! The spa smelt bad and looked run down, they charged us £360 to enter the spa even though we had a room booked with them and we had walked in with our suitcases, my partner got the money back but only after asking a member of staff and getting told it was a mistake. A mistake that shouldn't have happened. The cafe at the spa, food & champagne was poor and overpriced! The room was very noisy ( not sure if it was the elevator or air con ) but every hour a noise kept us up! and the sun came in the corner of the window all morning... leaving the hotel feeling so restless and the worst sleep I have had in a while. Breakfast in lounge ... basic The staff in the lounge were however lovely and the cocktails in the bar were nice, location is great but due to our experience the 4 of us would never return. Not worth the money

Fantastic 1 night stay. All staff attentive and very friendly. Tony was very helpful at check in. I'm gluten free and have other allergies and was very impressed with the variety of gluten free options provided for breakfast which included gluten free muffins made in Loch Ness and gluten free cornflakes and crossiants. The eggs florentine and avocado on toast with poached eggs we had for breakfast was great quality and cooked perfectly. The servers at breakfast were very attentive and prompt. Our room was very clean and cool which was great for the hot weather. This is our 3rd time staying and we will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff including housekeeping.

A great hotel with excellent cleanliness. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The added extra of the lounge is a must. Drinks are great and food for everyone. Never had a chance to visit the spa on this occasion but will definitely be back.

Stayed one night in a suite for Oasis gig on 12th.. Room was OK but water pressure awful. Breakfast was terrible.. Ran out of everything including eggs. Would not stay again.
