Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa

Ordered room service and was told the housekeeping would get the plates in the morning . Went out for the day came back at 9pm to a room that had not been touched . Bed was not made and plates still there from night before . Usually we leave them outside the room but were told not to they would be picked up. Not what you expect for a 5 star hotel. Apart from that £45 per person to use the spa for 3 hrs is a bit steep unless you’re a millionaire.

For our first visit to Edinburgh, we chose to stay at the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, Edinburgh — and we have absolutely no regrets. We got off to a wonderful start with a room overlooking the castle, which made our stay feel immediately special. Waking up to that view each morning was unforgettable. All of the staff were consistently polite and helpful, and the Club Lounge was excellent — a lovely space to relax after a day of sightseeing. The hotel is also ideally located within walking distance of most of Edinburgh’s major attractions, making it incredibly convenient for a first visit. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Edinburgh.

Well from booking to checking in and out, the staff were fantastic, professional and friendly, we felt welcomed. The email communication before arrival reassured me id made the right choice, Our room was spotlessly clean, bed was super comfortable. Beautiful exteriors. And the special little anniversary card and macaroons/cava were just so thoughtful. Thank you kindly. It was appreciated. We have had spa visits before but not like this one, One spa was great and we loved how many different experiences came with it. We visited on an evening and found it alittle busy so next time will try day time but its to be expected when its so good. We ate in the bar and we had ceasar and peach salads which were beautiful, the staff were fantastic, we requested cocktails not on the menu and they were 10/10. The sleep was great and no noise from neighbours which was another 10/10. We absolutely loved breakfast it was amazing, we were spoilt for choice.il he dreaming of the muffins and omelette for weeks to come. This was a fantastic little get away and we cannot wait to return. Sleep, eat, drink and spa were all above expectations. Thank you all.

Me and my partner stayed on a Sunday night for a show in usher hall, The hotel was absolutely stunning, the staff were extremely helpful and kind. The biggest reason we booked was because the outdoor swimming pool looked amazing, and extremely relaxing which was advertised with pictures on the site. On the Monday morning we went along to the pool, all excited! 😂 Tried to scan our door key through the banners which didn’t seem to work, a member of staff walked over asking if we needed any help, to be told we needed to be a member to go in the outdoor pool. If you can tell we were extremely disappointed in this, I felt a little bit of false advisement going on here sadly.

We stayed as a family of four in the Grand Suite. Room was lovely and spacious with luxury skincare products. We found breakfast a little hit and miss, we stayed for four days & sometimes the breakfast table had missing items & service was a tad chaotic. We met some very helpful staff including Surajit the food & beverages manager who was friendly and helpful. A lovely stay in Edinburgh
