Great stay in Edinburgh
Excellent location in Old Town. Very comfortable room,bedding, robes. Eve restaurant had great menu for dinner and very nice breakfast buffet. Enjoyed drinks in the Custom Club lounge. Hotel location on colorful Victoria St. is very close to Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle and also walkable to Holyrood Palace.

an excellent stay at a well-located and well-run hotel - the staff were uniformly excellent and the room was great. They also were happy for us to bring the dog and looked after him well with a nice bed, blanket and towel plus some snacks. For some reason this review needs a minimum of 200 characters so adding more...

Excellent customer focused hotel
We are midway through our two nights day. On arrival quite late at night we realised the room we had been allocated would not work due to noise from the street. We were devastated and asked for a change of room. Several members of staff attempted to find a solution for us but Ash stood out as someone who went above and beyond to get us moved to a room that would mean we got a good night's sleep. Our emotions were running high and she was so lovely and kind to us when we know it was a challenge to find a room when the hotel was so full. After showing us two alternative rooms and moving us, she then went to get us a complimentary bottle of fizz. Excellent customer service and lovely hotel. We were moved to a room without a view (323) but slept like babies which was our prime concern as I am here for a conference and need to be on top form! Looking forward to sampling some food and drink in the bars /restaurants later on. So far, very impressed by the customer service and overall experience. Thank you.

Wedding anniversary stafy
Exceptional hotel, the room (upgraded to the best!) was perfect, staff were attentive and welcoming and they couldn't do enough to make our 25th wedding anniversary a very special occasion. Food, design, staff and location make this a wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend this hotel and will be back for another visit soon..
