Location, Luxury, and lots of love and attention.
If you are looking for a luxury hotel in the heart of Edinburgh, look no further. This was in walking distance of all the sites and in the heart of Old Town. Our room was spacious, quiet, and beautiful. The staff is incredible and your needs are met with smiles. You can walk everywhere. (Bring your sneakers!) I would choose this hotel over any in New Town.

A most excellent experience
You cannot hope for a better hotel in Edinburgh. Take a bottle of wine out to the 7th floor terrace overlooking the castle at night. Not a better view anywhere. The staff are so nice and exceedingly helpful. One of the best restaurants in Edinburgh.

Location Location Location
This is a nice hotel but we were surprised that they call themselves a 5 stars hotel. Their rates are definitely 5 star rates, but their chambers and other features are just not. The chambers are oddly configured with no drawer space at all. No qtips or cotton balls, and our chamber walked you right into the bathroom. Very odd. The beds are fabulous and cozy. Their concierge Ed is wonderful. Their dining room called Eve is very odd. It’s not sure what it wants to be. Their breakfast is just meh, and the little things that make a 5 star experience were missing. All that said, the location could not have been better.

The most wonderful hotel in Edinburgh
First rate from arrival to departure. Loved our room with a view of the castle, room was clean, modern, beautiful. The hotel itself is architecturally interesting. Location was right in the heart of the old town, on a charming street, near the magnificent mile. Staff was warm, friendly, and helpful. Dined at Eve for dinner and breakfast and food was really good! All in all, a wonderful stay and would love to go back on our next trip to Edinburgh. Thank you!
