Excellent choice for accommodations in the heart of Edinburgh.
Very nice hotel. Clean, comfortable, and quiet room. Friendly and very helpful staff. Two very good restaurants on site and a wonderful bar. Great location in Edinburgh, close to the Castle and other attractions, as well as numerous restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed our stay.

Best hotel in Edinburgh!
Everything was perfect! The service was unbelievable. We just got married at the city chambers and stayed at the Virgin Hotels Edinburgh in a suite. The staff could not do enough for us throughout our stay. We were in Edinburgh 7 month prior to our wedding for a short break and called into the hotel to check all the booking was confirmed for peace of mind. Mariah I believe it was, ended up giving us a full tour of the hotel and all the rooms available so we were fortunate enough to be able to pick which suite we wanted for our wedding night. The night before the wedding they accommodated all our family (without having booked this, as it was a last minute idea) in Eves restaurant for drinks and food. We had our own private area and the food was fantastic. We also had the Scarlett lounge (this is just unreal) booked last minute for our photographer to get some pictures of us in after the ceremony. Would highly recommend this for any occasion it’s just unlike anything we’ve experienced. The day of the wedding they helped with all our requests, such as a steamer for the wedding dress, high stool taken to the room for the make up artist etc. They were just amazing and saved us so much stress and made our big day so easy. We arrived back in the evening unexpectedly to a bottle of champagne and chocolates in our room, which was another lovely touch. Thank you again to all the staff on the desks, concierge, cleaners, everyone! The room and hotel itself is stunning but the staff really do take this place to another level. We will be back 100% in the future for our next stay in Edinburgh.

Living the Life in Edinburgh
The Virgin Hotel, is the best place to stay while visiting Edinburgh. Close to the Royal Mile & Edinburgh castle. Lots of local attractions to see within walking distance, plenty of good Cafes, pubs & gift shops

Nice room. Horrible sleep
Rated terrible due to being kept awake till 3 am. A room I can’t sleep in is useless to me regardless of how well it’s appointed and how professional the staff is
