Nestled among the lush vineyards of Franciacorta on a gentle hill overlooking Lake Iseo, L’Albereta is a historic neoclassical villa transformed into an elegant Relais & Châteaux resort. Originally built in the 19th century, the ivy-clad estate combines the charm of a private residence with luxurious hospitality. With just 53 uniquely styled accommodations—ranging from double rooms and junior suites to exclusive suites—each space is individually curated. For wellness and restoration, the SPA Espace Chenot is a standout feature of the property, offering cutting-edge detox, wellness, and longevity programs in a refined and serene atmosphere. As for culinary experiences, L'Albereta offers five distinct venues, ranging from the fine-dining cuisine of L'Aurum, to the award-winning pizzeria, La Filiale. To complete the picture of a perfect getaway, the Hotel offers a variety of experiences including wine tours, bike and walking tours, boat excursions, and much more.

Went to L'Alebereta with my son for 2 wonderful days, and can strongly recommend this hotel. Beautifully situated in the Italian countryside, just a few kilometers away from Lago d'Iseo. The hotel is a stunning 19th-century building with a ton of charm and elegance. The new wings and additions to the hotel have been done elegantly to blend in with the older original part. Whilst there, I would recommend going to Iseo or Sulzano, taking the ferry over to Mount Isola and rent bikes for the ca. 9km roundtrip of the island. The hotel staff were attentive and polite in a very non-intrusive manner. They made us feel very welcome and a "part of the family". Special thanks to Roberta Pogliani, the guest relations manager, for organising our entire trip, as well as taking such good care of us at the hotel itself. The efforts of the owner family, Moretti, are truly commendable. They have transformed the old house into a place of beauty and excellence, as well as the local vineyard and the restaurants at the hotel and in the village. Their passion for quality and attention to detail is evident in every detail of this place.

We just come with four couples from l’Albereta relais and chateau in beautifull Franciacorta. Every one of us was very very satisfied. Albereta was a experience that we can recommend to everyone. From the moment of booking, we were professionally guided in arranging everything we needed, including tee times at Franciacorta Golf and a visit to the Bellavista Winery. Our dinner at the l’Aurum Restaurant was worthy of a Michelin star. Although the head chef was not present, the young sous-chef delighted us with exquisite dishes. The service, led by a young sommelier and an equally professional and charming waitress was impeccable. Also the pizzeria was a memorable experience. (Maybe the wine list could be extended). We were a group of eight, and every single one of us would return to this place without hesitation on a future visit. The service from the entire staff was impeccable. We truly discovered a little piece of paradise in the beautiful Franciacorta region. Thank you to the entire hotel team for pampering us from arrival to departure—from restful nights and delicious breakfasts to relaxing wellness moments and delightful dinners. For us, this was a perfect stay.

There was a very wonderful garden, very well equipped house, well what you expect from a 5star rated house: extremely nice and helpful staff, except the people from reception, really a huge disappointment. these two not even took note from our very polite complaint that the bar music was at disco level, we were not informed ahead about party noice like in all other good hotels, so could not act before and woke our baby up which than was crying for hours. very strange at this level

The Albereta Relais & Châteaux has the potential to be a truly special destination. The grounds are undeniably beautiful—lush, serene, and perfect for a quiet retreat. However, a luxury resort must get the basics right, and unfortunately, our experience fell well short of expectations. Our room, while charming at first glance, had cleanliness issues that are simply unacceptable at this price point. Most notably, the bathroom had visible mold—something you would not expect even at a mid-range hotel, let alone at a resort charging over $1,200 per night. Service was another letdown. While some staff members were professional and welcoming, we encountered a waiter whose behavior could only be described as rude. When you're paying for a premium experience, hospitality should feel effortless—not strained or dismissive. The sad truth is, if management addressed the room maintenance and invested in proper staff training, this could be a wonderful destination. But until then, I would recommend spending your money elsewhere. For now, The Albereta offers 5-star pricing without delivering 5-star standards.

Front desk stuff was very unprofessional. Leaves you with bad taste. I expect more from a high-end hotel like that.

L'Albereta, in a free association is - exquisite, serene, swell, oil painting, velvet, organza, taffeta, silk, fastidiously rustic, neat, elegant, civilized, subtley operatic, celestial, airy, picturesque. And thank you to all the simply wonderful staff and their inimitable hospitality.
