This review is for the young gentleman servicing the beach chairs and umbrellas. The young man is named Cameron , he was extremely helpful to me and my family during our stay . Dusting off the seats before seating us and making sure we were accommodated with everything we would need. I forgot to bring sunscreen and asked by chance if they had some and he brought multiple options to choose from as well as some sand toys for the kids to play with. This young man was very involved and interactive with us asked us how our stay was going so far and let us know a couple of recommendations to places and things that can be done while on vacation. He is extremely pleasant and does an extraordinary job , We will be returning and hope to see him again , very nice and genuine young man.

Love this hotel

Perfect stay. The residence 1 br is wonderful . We are lifetime Hilton Diamond and get treated as such. Nice to be appreciated! Wonderful , attentive staff. Housekeeping every single day if you desire. $50 room credit if you’re diamond like us. It’ll pay for half of your breakfast - super expensive but it’s a hotel.! Have fun!

Negatives supersede the positive

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

I recently stayed at the Conrad and would not stay here again. Starting with the positives - the front desk manager (Tanja), bellmen (all especially Rollie), and engineering staff were exceptional. The views from the hotel room, Spinnakers grill, and location are very nice. The negatives - in room dining has inconsistent food (breakfast was the only meal I enjoyed) and housekeeping varied greatly based on the housekeeper. Biggest negative was that after I checked out and was headed home .. a front desk worker decided to add a night to my stay stating they weren’t sure I checked out. Mind you the bellman brought my luggage down and loaded me into an Uber and the front desk person accepted my keys when I checked out early that morning. I found out when the $1000 hold was put on my acct and I was notified by my bank to confirm it was a valid charge after getting back home post my flight. The excuse was that they weren’t sure I checked out and housekeeping said I had luggage in the room. Absolute falsehood since the Conrad bellman took my luggage out early AM as I was checking out and I had already turned in my keys when I checked out. I was both disappointed and disgusted since they didn’t check with their own staff who could have validated I checked out early that morning. When I noted that they should have confirmed via looking in the room and asking their front desk/bellman .. I was told it was not their policy and no apology was given. As a Diamond member, this was unacceptable on all levels.

Worth the Price

This is an extremely clean hotel. Every staff member I encountered was friendly. The onsite restaurant is fantastic. Views of the ocean are breathtaking. There is an onsite little convenience store that sells everything from medicine to sandwiches (breakfast and lunch) to green juices and alcohol. Highly recommend.

Best hotel associated with Hilton brand on Fort Lauderdale beach

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

This hotel is excellent. Would stay again right away. In the heart of everything but quieter section of FL beach. We’ve stayed at several of the higher end Hiltons in Fort Lauderdale and this is our favorite. Diplomat= terrible service and rooms are just ok, it’s a conference hotel - noisy there- and weird spot on busy street Maren=gorgeous and great service - overlooks grungy spot on one side though Conrad= these rooms are larger and the hotel is beautiful. High end restaurants with great food. Awesome beach location across street with loungers water and umbrellas and a drink shack. Service= everyone was so nice - front desk was pleasant and thorough with explanation. The housekeeping and night turndown staff was fantastic. The room was always in great shape with extra towels, amenities, chocolates for turn down, fresh waters. Quality- room is beautiful and you have sitting area and kitchen area and large bedroom and bathroom. The junior studio is great and eligible for points stays. It’s got partial ocean view and not directly across from elevator. The one bedrooms you can book with points are only floors 6-8 (limited view) so they are on same floor as pool gym spa and look at other buildings. We stayed in 1711. It’s a cool room. High enough to hear nothing from the street noise or pool and a couple doors away from the elevator. We overlooked the pool side so it was nice to check if any loungers were open. We slept well with comfy bed and pillows. Rooms don’t cool below 65 so it was a little warm for us from up north who sleep in 60 degree rooms. Speaking of the pool- the guy there doing towels and set up was great. Ran right over with towels and set us up. Made sure we had water too. We also ate at the bar and I cannot recommend the Terra bowl enough. I eat a lot of high end meals and this was so good and fresh. The bartenders were also nice. The restaurants- Takado- wow. This restaurant was my favorite out of the ones we ate at. And the service was great. Vitolo- new concept from NY chefs. It was good but if you’re Italian, you might find it acceptable. Very tough crowd for Italian food. We liked it. The gym at the hotel was nice and has 3 peloton. I already can’t wait to come back. Also Valet was quick. If you texted them car was ready. There was also a cute smoothie Açaí bowl place behind the hotel over to the right towards the north. It was across from a busy bakery. There were so many super cute eateries behind the hotel- we definitely had our pick of tasty food. The hotel is not cheap but you feel like you’re on vacation at a 5 star resort. You don’t need a car- you can do beach and pool- you can walk around and eat and shop no problem. Cannot wait to return. .
