French Lick Springs Hotel

The location was ideal for me, in a small town where I could pick up essentials I had forgotten. The decorations were beautiful and added to an already gorgeous hotel. My room was comfortable and clean, and I found the price a fair value for my money. The noise level wasn't't bad at all; I could still sleep even though people were in the halls talking sometimes. The service was good and I enjoyed some of the amenities such as the pool and the arcade. I very much enjoyed my visit there and will definitely return.

We and our friends travel with dogs. The resort staff were always attentive to our needs as pet owners. We had a wonderful time for New Years. The hotel was impressive with history. The room was very clean and we had an end room which made it easy to get the dogs outside. A must to see for a bucket list checklist. Thank you staff for a wonderful time.

Made the reservation a year in advance. I am a preferred member. Tried to check in @ 1:30 and told room was not ready. Expected this. Front deck promised to call when the room was ready. No call or text by 6pm so I called them. Told room was ready. No upgrade offered to a preferred member. Put me in room 2507 next door to a service elevator. Constant noise from the elevator. Called front desk to ask for a different room and was told none were available. Son in law was suddenly upgraded as a preferred member. Not at all happy with the French Lick Springs resort.

It’s hard to beat this place! We’ve been coming here for years for the Polar Express. Rooms are clean and comfortable - and so pretty! The hotel is gorgeous and always decorated beautifully during the holiday season. And it’s hard to beat a rail trolley between the hotels! The staff is top notch and the restaurants are wonderful.

They have bedbugs, beware! We traveled to French Lick Resort a couple weeks ago and came home with bedbugs. Management did not believe us, but my back, arms and hands are covered with welts. They said all their mattresses are encased in plastic. However, their pillows are not encased in plastic, nor are there decorative pillows. They said they have an exterminator, who obviously doesn’t do a good job. They said no one else has reported bedbugs, so I came on the Internet to see if anyone had, and voilà, others had the same experience. Bedbugs are a pain to get rid of just as bad as hotel management saying nothing is wrong.
