Outdated rooms. Very poor service, rude staff, smallest pool and gym area. Worst of all they charge facility fees for that pool and gym area..I do not recommend this hotel. Several good hotel nearby which are much better with better customer experience.

Let me start talking about how rude the security was. Even though we had a room in the hotel we were told to be in our room. We paid that mean we have all the right to be in that lobby. Second of all one of your security guards said “ YOU PEOPLE SHOULD CONTROL YOURSELF AND UNDERSTAND”. During the cricket match in Nassau County. That a racist comment by the security. He was threating us by saying do you want to ride in the patrol car. I told sir i drive the patrol car because i am in the US Army. Fix this seriously.

Our stay at the hotel was marred by disappointing treatment from the staff. As avid cricket fans, we anticipated a warm welcome, but unfortunately, encountered rudeness and disrespect, particularly from the security team. It's disheartening that the hotel failed to recognize the enthusiasm and respect that cricket fans, especially Indians, bring. Despite spending generously to support our favorite team, we were met with hostility instead of hospitality. However, it was heartening to witness an ex-cricketer advocating for our rights. We hope our feedback prompts the hotel to reevaluate its approach to guest relations, especially during high-profile events like hosting cricket teams. The abrupt cancellation of our reservation following a simple request for a photo opportunity in the hotel café, with the VIP's consent, was deeply frustrating. It seems evident that the hotel failed to uphold the expected standards of hospitality and professionalism. While it's difficult to attribute such treatment solely to racism, it's undeniable that the hotel fell short of meeting the expected standards of a hospitality establishment in the United States. If the hotel intends to host high-profile guests in the future, it must prioritize thorough staff training and reassess its commitment to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all guests. Our experience underscores the need for the hotel to reevaluate its procedures and customer service approach.

FANTASTIC experience at the Garden City Hotel. We're here during a VERY, VERY busy period but this team hasn't missed a beat. Several team members are staying here for an event, including families with young children. We also used their conference facilities for an all-day meeting. The service has been exceptional on all fronts. Staff have been extremely friendly and accommodating and have gone above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The lunch in the meeting room was wonderful, and we gave them MANY dietary restrictions and preferences to consider. This is our second time staying here as a team, and we're so happy to have such a wonderful "base" when everyone is in town. Thank you so much! We don't want to leave... and we can't wait to come back later this summer!

Very fancy hotel; we stayed here for the Tim McGraw concert at USB Arena. The staff was very friendly, and check-in was very easy. Our room was nice over looking the back of the property. We didn't use any of the other facilities as it was a down-and-back trip.
