Castle Leslie Estate

Myself and my daughter visited Castle Leslie for the day. Our experience was excellent, but the food was a big disappointment. We had the two course set lunch in Conor's Bar, where I had the cod cheeks and my daughter had the duck wings. While the duck wings were lovely, my cod cheeks were both cold and bland. Both myself and my daughter ordered the "Mushroom Burger". It was hugely disappointing for a vegetarian option. The mushrooms were tasteless and minimal, the burger tasted as though it had come from a freezer from Lidl. Beautiful grounds, highlt trained staff, but the food falls way short of the standard :(

Our special place never disappoints, just returned home from a stay in the ‘Jigsaw Room’ at The Lodge. This was such a special touch for my birthday/retirement celebration, the room complete with private entrance was FAB. Spa & Equestrian services both used and were top notch all the way. 5* food, atmosphere & service from the staff in every area were friendly, efficient, professional & truly exceptional from start to finish. Credit to you all! Looking forward to our return again next month!!

Exceptional as always from Castle Leslie. Myself and my mom stayed here initially for her birthday in April 2024, and it was so good we had to come back a year later!!! Everything from the room, the grounds, the food, and the staff was top class and five star. Special shout out to Enda who did the history tour of the castle, I was hanging on his every word and it was a highlight for us. Castle Leslie is such a special place, a beautiful hotel experience that isn’t overbearing or stuffy. It feels like coming home every time we stay here. There isn’t a rating high enough for the hotel, can’t recommend enough

Castle is one of the best places I have stayed at by far. I have traveled the world and stayed at many luxury resorts. Castle Leslie is at the top! The facilities are great and extremely comfortable. The food is tasty with great choices. The grounds are spectacular. I came with my wife who was doing their horse program. She loved it. I want to save the best for last: the staff. They went the extra mile on everything. Their attention and follow up is with out compare. They always take the extra time to engage you with their own personal comments and opinions. Totally unpretentious. I loved it. Thanks to you all.

My friend and I spent only 1 night at the Lodge at Castle Leslie for our 60th Birthday treat in April but it was an absolutely fantastic unforgettable trip. The grounds were beautiful, full of wild garlic, bluebells, mature trees, shrubs and birds. We were able to visit the Castle (ground floor) and it is breath-taking! The Lodge was amazing and our room was perfect; from the decor, the comfortable beds, the bathroom with roll-top bath, the balcony overlooking the stables, to the beautiful view over to the rookery. All the staff were so attentive and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing, with lots of delicious vegan options too. It was all absolutely perfect, a truly magical experience. I can highly recommend. Thank you to all at Castle Leslie 🙂
