One&Only Aesthesis

We stayed at One&Only Aesthesis in February and had a wonderful experience. The weather was sunny and pleasant, perfect for visiting outdoor sites like the Acropolis without the summer crowds. I truly recommend coming to Athens in the low season – the city feels more relaxed and enjoyable. What made our stay extra special was that we visited during Chinese New Year, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared festive amenities in the room. It was such a warm and unexpected touch – a beautiful blend of international hospitality and traditional celebration that genuinely made us feel at home. The service throughout the stay was excellent, and every staff member was kind, attentive, and welcoming. A perfect choice for a peaceful, high-quality stay while exploring Athens.

As frequent visitors to One & Only The Palm, Dubai, we were keen to try a new destination, and One & Only Aesthesis did not disappoint. Located Just a 10 minute walk from Glyfada, a small local town with shops, restraunts and bars, and a 30 minute taxi ride from the attractions of central Athens, the hotel is in a perfect location to enjoy a short city break. Once you have driven through the gates of the hotel it’s like entering a peaceful oasis. There is a very modern feel to the resort which is beautifully landscaped, and has a mix of rooms, suites, bungalows and villas. Our bungalow was beautiful, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything that you need far a luxurious stay. The bungalow had a bedroom, dressing room, large bathroom and lots of outside space to the front and rear of the property. The front area had lounge seating and a lovely big fire for chillier evenings, and the rear garden area had more seating, sun loungers and a good sized plunge pool. The hotel has two restaurants, Manko which serves Peruvian dishes and Ora which serves Greek / Itallan cuisine. We ate at both and would highly recommend as the food was superb - special mention to the pastry chef for some wonderful creations. We would like to extend our thanks to Socrates and Panagiotis who looked after us at Ora, they were very knowledgeable about the menu and were able to give us good recommendations. They were very professional and made us feel like nothing was to much trouble. Socrates loves his job and he is a credit to the hotel, but although he does a geat job at Ora, we could also see him being very good in a bar environment as he is so friendly.. maybe the Sunset Bar (amazing views !) would be a good fit for him? Andreas always welcomed us with a lovely smile every morning at breakfast, we had some lovely conversations with him and he was so friendly. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t good enough to sit around the main pool, but we had a walk around the area and found there to be plenty of sunbeds and cabanas for use during warmer times. We were so well looked after by everyone that we met, including members of the management team, and this made our break very special. Every member of staff, without exception, were outstanding and so friendly and helpful. Special mentions for Nikos and John Paul who are an absolute credit to the team, and genuinely wanted us to have a great experience ! Overall, a fantastic hotel in a great location with a wonderful team to look after you and make you feel welcome, we will be returning!

We stayed with our family at One&Only Aesthesis and had a truly wonderful experience. From the very first moment, the staff stood out for their exceptional politeness and professionalism. Everyone was always kind, approachable, and genuinely willing to help, responding immediately to any request and making us feel very well taken care of throughout our stay. The resort is located in a very quiet area, right next to the sea, offering a sense of privacy and relaxation. We stayed in a private residence that had all the modern comforts one could ask for. The space was spacious, bright, beautifully designed, and featured a private pool and a lovely outdoor yard, which was perfect for our family. We were also delighted by the thoughtful welcome gifts, which added a very warm and personal touch to our arrival. Breakfast was excellent, with both a rich buffet and à la carte options. There was a wide variety of savory and sweet dishes, fresh fruits, omelets, and everything was of very high quality. You could enjoy your drink either by the pool or at the bar, both offering a very pleasant atmosphere. What truly made a difference for us as a family was how child-friendly the resort is. There were fantastic facilities for children, including a large indoor play area with many toys and a dedicated staff member supervising the kids, as well as a spacious outdoor playground with swings, greenery, and plenty of room to play freely. Overall, our stay exceeded our expectations. It is an ideal destination for families looking for luxury, comfort, tranquility, and excellent service. We would definitely love to return. Me and my husband had an amazing stay for Valentine’s Day at One and Only Athens. The stuff was really kind, attentive and they fulfilled all of our wishes and went above and beyond to make us feel at home and have an amazing time. I truly recommend it as it is a top level resort with five stars services. We also had a spa and a dinner at Ora which I highly recommend as well! Thank you for our amazing stay!

Overall a great off peak stay in Winter. The bungalows have excellent private outdoor spaces and we times our visit well to get some sun. The kids club was quiet at this time of year and very useful. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Special credit to Ercules at the gym for showing my 8 year old how to exercise! Breakfast had many delicious options. The only area for improvement is the rooms inside - had a few teething problems with curtains that got stuck, a shower temperature controller that was not intuitive to use and an annoying sensor light. But the team fixed all this over time. The restaurant Ora felt a bit overpriced so we only went there once. €87 for a 250g rump steak with no sides was a bit much.
