Alila Diwa Goa

We had an amazing experience at Alila Diwa Goa. The setting is spectacular, lush green sanctuary with all modern amenities, swimming pools, exemplary service and attention to detail. A hotel living up to the brand and the staff could not have been any more amazing.

We stayed for a two-day wedding celebration and were picked up from Goa International Airport by hotel staff, with a 45-minute drive to the hotel. The scenery, landscaping, and overall appearance of the hotel were stunning—both day and night. Our room décor was lovely, featuring a freestanding bath, walk-in rain shower, balcony, and air conditioning. It was very clean and had everything you could need, including shower caps, toothbrushes, toiletries, robes, slippers, an iron and ironing board, and plug-in mosquito repellents. There was a great variety of restaurants catering to all preferences (I don’t like curry), each with its own distinct vibe. Breakfast was a huge buffet, offering everything from traditional Indian dishes to a full English breakfast, as well as pancakes, omelettes, continental options, pastries, fruit, cereal, and yoghurt. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The pool was beautiful, and the shuttle to the beach (running from early morning to dusk) was a great touch, with towels provided. On departure at 3am, a taxi was ready and check-out was quick and easy. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Our stay was amazing. The hospitality, the eagerness of the staff to make sure our every need is taken care of. It was really better than expected. I traveled with my family and we were celebrating the first birthday of our son. The chef, the restaurant staff, the hotel staff, customer relations team were all amazing. Thank you. Special special mention to Chef Arif, Sudipta, Velecia and Team, Sourav, Payal and Aditi at VIVO. And many more staff who have helped us but I do not know the name. Coming to the resort facilities - swimming pool, play Alila - standout! Beach shuttle was a very convenient option. Food was amazing. Super super stay!

Our check‑in was exceptionally smooth and welcoming, setting the perfect tone for our stay. The rooms were impeccably neat and clean, ensuring comfort from the very moment we arrived. The property’s location is absolutely perfect, just a few metres away from the beach, adding to the overall charm of the experience. The outstanding service from the staff, the delicious food, and the engaging masterclass all came together to elevate our stay and add a delightful finishing touch to our visit. Special thanks to Breanna, Caren, Rohit, Mevern and our wonderful chefs, Tenzing and Pratik.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with exceptional service, food & cleanliness in a beautiful location a courtesy bus ride away from the beach. Our stay here was perfect after a very busy few days touring the Golden Triangle in India. What sets this hotel apart is the service from every single team member who go above and beyond to deliver a first class experience always with a smile and willing to help in any way they can. The gardens are kept in a fantastic condition and the cleanliness of the whole resort is second to none. We were in the Diwa Club Room 361 which was a lovely room with fantastic amenities overlooking the pool, superb bedding and fabulous large bathroom with sunken bath and shower facilities as well as his and hers sinks. There is a hairdryer which is great, safe to secure your valuables and iron and ironing board available in the room. We had our laundry washed and pressed which was a very reasonable cost and delivered promptly back to our room. The massage we had was superb. Every single team member go above and beyond to deliver an exceptional experience to all of their guests, but Sherwin from the Edge Bar & Restaurant is a huge credit to the Alila Diwa team always happy to help, provide a first class service to his guests, extremely knowledge, fantastic cocktails and always delivered with a smile. Payal, Aditi, Licherd and Sauraw from the VIVO Restaurant were also wonderful team members who made our stay so memorable. We will never forget this holiday, it far exceeded our expectations and we hope one day to return back to Goa for another stay at this fantastic hotel.
