Magical stay at The Langham Gold Coast. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we could not fault our experience. We stayed in a two bedroom Sky Residence on the 42nd floor and the views were absolutely stunning. The beds were deliciously fluffy, the complimentary amenities were lovely, and every detail felt thoughtfully considered. Despite the chilly weather, the pools were the perfect temperature, which made them a real highlight. The location is ideal, right on the beach with easy parking options and close to everything. Breakfast was impressive, with a generous and well executed buffet. The staff are truly a credit to the Langham brand. From the front door and check in, to the pool bar, restaurant, bellhop, and even those we passed in the halls, everyone was consistently helpful and welcoming. A flawless stay and one we would happily repeat.

Dear Management Team, My business has used The Langham for some time, and my family and I also stayed at The Langham, Surfers Paradise last year and absolutely loved the experience. Unfortunately, this year’s stay was markedly different. Check-in was smooth, and the front desk staff were extremely helpful. The room itself was acceptable, though not to the standard we experienced on our previous visit. I believe I may be at failult here as I thought I had booked total beach view, not just from one aspect. The main concern arose with room service. We ordered dinner totalling approximately $500. Several items did not present as described. As an example, we ordered three serves of the yum cha dumplings, and the menu imagery showed a variety of dumpling styles; however, only two types were delivered. More concerning, the dumplings appeared undercooked and tasted similar to supermarket products rather than what one would expect from a hotel of your calibre. At the time, we chose not to raise this so as not to detract from our stay. The following morning, we ordered four breakfast meals via room service, which arrived approximately 30 minutes late. While disappointing, we were prepared to move past this. What was troubling, however, was that not all items were delivered. When we phoned to advise this, the staff member stated that she regularly receives calls from guests claiming missing items in order to avoid payment and went on to explain that security cameras have been installed to prove otherwise. I must say, this conversation was quite distasteful. We are not those guests, and we did not appreciate being exposed to what felt like internal issues or policies. When my wife raised this matter again at checkout, she was told the charge would be removed; however, she was also advised that if footage and call recordings suggested otherwise, the charges could be reinstated. My family and I have never experienced this type of interaction at a hotel of this standing. We welcome any review of calls or footage you feel is appropriate, but the manner in which these matters were communicated to us was disappointing and detracted significantly from what should have been a relaxing stay. We wanted to provide this feedback constructively, as we have previously enjoyed both your brand and this property, and hope this experience can be used to improve future guest interactions. The lagoon pool is lovely with warm water and easy to clean sand play. The gluten free option for dinning is also accomodating my daughter food allergy as well.

Outstanding property and amenities and amazing service from staff. Spacious rooms and I was even upgraded to a room with a balcony! Would definitely recommend.
