Service was truly exceptional, from reception to dining service & housekeeping. Want to give shout out to the awesome reception staff (Macarena, Christina & sorry I miss one lady who’s super kind when she attended us when we arrived, Monday morning. Vincent was very helpful too. The location couldn’t be better - perched just steps from Alhambra itself with sweeping views of Granada and Sierra Nevada. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The decor is stunning and make you feel immersed in Andalusian history.

It’s a wonderful hotel. Another Spanish gem with beautiful tilework throughout. If you stay you should have a drink or meal on the balcony overlooking the city, it’s a spectacular view. The breakfast is very good and the rooms are fine.

This is a beautiful hotel with some similar architecture to the Alhambra. The public areas are unbelievable. The terrace restaurant has amazing views of the city and lovely sunsets. We booked through Expedia and received a good rate for the property but as always when I book with them the rooms are subpar in size and views. My sister booked through American Express and had a much lovelier view and room for same category. Service was excellent.. Tomas at the terrace restaurant and bar was very congenial. Hotel did not provide hair conditioner in room but it was available upon request.

WARNING — DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BELONGINGS ANYWHERE IN THIS HOTEL. During check-in at Alhambra Hotel my backpack was stolen from the reception area while staff stood nearby. The theft is clearly visible on the hotel’s security cameras: the person sits in the lobby, makes a FaceTime call, takes my bag and walks out. Staff only told me to go to the police and offered no help, compensation, or follow-up. This incident strongly suggests serious negligence in basic guest security — the lobby, breakfast room and even your room are not safe. Don’t trust the staff or the hotel’s assurances: leave valuables with you or don’t stay here. Management must explain how this happened and what they will do to protect future guests.

Nothing wrong with this hotel. They just think they are the only game in town and act accordingly. Food quite good. Just not up to the standards of the other hotels we stayed in during our trip to Spain. Maybe there are better hotels in Grenada.
