Grand Bohemian Lodge Greenville, Autograph Collection

The Grand Bohemian Lodge - Greenville is a magical place and in a perfect location right along the park and waterfalls. Loved the decor and the spicy scent of the property. The room are excellent - if you enjoy the outdoors, make sure you get a room with a balcony, it’s easy to sit for hours among the trees and the sound of the waterfalls. Pure magic. The bathroom was gorgeous - just be careful as the shower floor is VERY slippery! Room had great amenities, even slippers which is a nice touch. The location is unbeatable - you’re a short walk from all the downtown restaurants and shopping and sightseeing as well as a beautiful park. The hotel restaurant is good (not great) for breakfast. Sit outside if it’s not too hot. Server was wonderful. Keep in mind, valet parking is the only option at the property. Valets were friendly and efficient though the employee at check in was inexplicably cold and not very welcoming! While expensive, the hotel is well worth it and I would love to stay again if I’m in town.

Josh was our valet at check out today he was very attentive. Anytime you stay with a Marriott reserve property I believe the experience is unbelievable and set apart from the competition. From our valet at check-in to the service attendants across property they’re extremely attentive, courteous, respectful. it’s an above board experience that is well worth the money. I’m a particular fan of Marriott and I can’t say enough about the grand bohemian experiences. They have all been excellent. Go for it book your next GB vacay!

This hotel is a showstopper! Looks like a luxury mountain retreat. More upscale than Yellowstone Ranch! The art is museum quality and the views of the waterfall on Reedy River are fantastic. Hotel restaurant is five stars on service and food.

Service at this property inferior to the brand; housekeeping came to our room @0900, we told them to come back at least an hour later. We returned to our room at 1700 and room had not been serviced. Was told room would be serviced with “turndown”. Had to ask for toilet paper as “turndown” service did not fully service room. On valet parking, one valet did not know the hotel had electric charger; on checkout, both clerks did not understand our Amex platinum package and what it covered. Have not stayed in a Kessler property with this lack of attention to detail. Breakfast was great quality and service. Lobby bar wine offerings very limited. Did not eat lunch or dinner here. AC in room did not function properly — bathroom cooled and rest of room was hot. Location unbeatable but lots of other properties in the area. Personally I think all are probably overpriced but Greenville is popular place now.
