JA Manafaru

This was our first stay at JA Manafaru, selected based on its reputation as a family- and child-friendly resort, and the experience fully lived up to those expectations. From arrival to departure, the arrangements were exceptionally smooth and well coordinated, clearly standing out compared to many other resorts we have visited. The level of organization and attention to detail made the entire journey comfortable and stress-free. The staff were consistently warm, professional, and genuinely eager to help, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. Getting around the island is easy and safe for all ages, thanks to well-designed pathways and steps that are especially suitable for families with children. One of the highlights was the strong on-ground presence of the management, rather than a traditional office-based approach, which ensured quick responses and personal attention whenever needed. A special thank you to the Resort Managers, Roberto and Soodh, for maintaining such high standards, and to Mohamed for his fast responses and attentive care during our stay. The restaurants were another standout aspect of the experience. Dining at White Orchid, Ocean Grill, Kakuni, and Andiamo was consistently excellent — not only in terms of food quality, but also service, timing, and attention to guests. The teams were professional, friendly, and made every meal an enjoyable part of our stay. Overall, JA Manafaru delivers a well-rounded, high-quality experience across all aspects — service, organization, dining, comfort, and family friendliness — making it a resort we would confidently recommend and happily return to.

It was our third vacation on this paradise. Everything was exceptional Amazing food and service, very clean, excellent amenities. Overall a fantastic experience as always Great value for money

The hotel is absolutely incredible. The wildlife is beautiful and there are loads of great activities. Villas are beautiful - we stayed in the sunset water villa which gave stunning views every night. Would definitely recommend the wine lunch in the cellar - great experience. All inclusive plan is great & all the meal were stunning. Staff are absolutely amazing - very attentive and helpful.

I loved Manafaru the minute I arrived to a welcoming gathering of staff, including the General Manager Roberto. I was whisked off by a golf buggy, the transport of choice on the island. How lucky was I - arrived on the night of the cocktail party. It was great, at the Levi Bar, overlooking the water & the beautiful sunset. Each night two very talented people entertained us. A lovely violinist & beautiful singer. They always looked gorgeous. All 3 restaurants were very good but my favourite was Akuni, open for breakfast & lunch & also a fabulous BBQ Seafood buffet on Thursday night & Asian buffet on Saturday. My over the water villa was superb, very comfortable & beautifully looked after. I'm not usually one for a massage but the one I had at the Spa was very relaxing & my body felt much better afterwards. The island was easy to get around but you could always call for a cart to pick you up. My 'butler' RIZAM was great & always willing to help. He was informative & offered suggestions for things to do. I was on my own & I always felt special. The seaplane also was a good experience, so smooth & I never felt nervous. So highly recommended!!

Wonderful stay in the 2-bedroom ocean residence. Stunning views and amazing property. Everything was great and family had a wonderful time! Service is outstanding and staff are friendly, attentive and made us feel like part of the family. Our butler Rizam is very experienced and we want to thank him for taking care of us so well including the pleasant surprises! The waitress Pranita (from Bhutan) was very nice and attentive and made our meal experience wonderful. The security guard Bibek (from Nepal) was professional, warm and friendly. There was also a tall slim lifeguard (from Maldives, wearing yellow uniform) at the jetty who was very nice and attentive and provided us with towels and water right after our snorkelling. At the end of the 6-day stay, we left with many beautiful memories and made several new friends!
