Capella Hanoi

The location is a 10. I stayed in one of their suite and the room was a 10. Service was a 10, all the staffs were great and very helpful. The room comes with breakfast, although the food selections was good but lack it was the same menu for the 3 nights I was there. For breakfast, I give it an 8.

Although a family trip, both daughters are over 20 and this review is in that context. It works hard, and in our view succeeds in being a unique hotel that would be appreciated by over 18's - but this a personal perspective. If you have younger children with an interest in the hotel's concept approach, they will equally enjoy. The concept was not the reason I chose the hotel, so this along with the service standard is why I have rated it so highley.

Capella Hanoi is an absolute dream of a hotel. Its facade is understated and elegant. The decor inside is high quality and tasteful. The “stars of the golden age” theme is managed tastefully and is genuinely interesting . The lounge is a beautifully appointed and welcoming space for guests and offers a varied selection of refreshments throughout the day. The evening jazz and cocktails hour makes it difficult to leave the hotel once the sun sets ! And to be honest … once we got back to the hotel after a day’s exploring … we often didn’t. We ate at Back Stage and also in the bar as well as ordering room service . Food was great. Breakfast was superb . Next time we will find time to try Koki. Neither did we have time to use the spa - another reason to come back . However … the absolute stand out of Capella Hanoi is the amazing team who work there . We have never experienced such consistently excellent service from every single member of hotel staff from reception team to housekeeping. It is clear the management at Capella plays a huge part in making this happen . So, we thank you sincerely, Hildegard and team, for making our special milestone anniversary one we will never forget . And we are now already looking at more trips to Capella hotels. Amazing ! Well done everyone at Capella Hanoi !

If you are like me thinking whether you would want to choose sofitel or capella. Choose capella. I had the privilege to stay at both properties and although they are adjacent to one another, capella beats sofitel in every aspect and its like heaven and earth. They have the best staff, who is willing to go above and beyond for you and always with a smile. The rooms…. I was upgraded to the deluxe suite 210 and it was heavenly… i just have to give a shoutout to phun (the lady staff who handles my check in), grace and all the other staff who takes care of me. If you’re muslim, they really remember that you do not take pork and they go out of their way to make adjustments according to your dietary needs. Capella hanoi makes me want to book other capella properties. It was just exceptional!

The atmosphere of the hotel, the staff, the food in the restaurant, the cleanliness of the rooms, every little detail suggests maximalism, so that the guest loves every minute of being here. In the suite, the bathroom, the everyday kindness, the scent are all captivating.
