Capella Hanoi

This was one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever stayed at and had service which was superb! The culturists helped us with tours, dinner recommendations, activities to do, and a great place to have a shampoo (which is a special treat in Vietnam). Although all of the staff at the front of the hotel, the dining room, and elsewhere were great, we especially appreciate the help we got from Thao and Trung. Thao was there on our arrival and took special care of us throughout the entire stay, including letting us know about the dangers of traveling to Hue and Hoi An due to flooding. She worked tirelessly to make other arrangements for us. Trung was also very helpful and generously gave us tickets to a beautiful musical performance one evening. The decor at the hotel is gorgeous – – in the living room, bar, restaurants, and the rooms. Breakfast is delicious and we also enjoyed a dinner at the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening “soirée” which included complementary drinks and snacks and a show with a pianist, bass player, and singer. Delightful in a beautiful setting! The location of the hotel in the French Quarter was also excellent and allowed us to walk to many places, including Hoan Kiem Lake, where we especially liked the weekend festivities! The perfect place to stay in Hanoi!

A two night stay in Hanoi was made so wonderful by the experience of staying at the Capella Hotel. It is the perfect place to treat yourself if you are looking for a spot of luxury during your visit to Vietnam’s capital city. From the moment that we arrived the staff were warm and welcoming and even though we were there well before their usual check-in time, the room was ready for us and we were delighted to discover that we had been upgraded to a suite and had been left an Opera cake and a bottle of champagne to celebrate our wedding anniversary, which was a lovely surprise. The meals at the hotel were really good; the champagne breakfast set us up for the day and the included afternoon tea was a lovely treat after touring the city, with another treat to come with the inclusive cocktail happy hour! The hotel’s location in the French Quarter was perfect for seeing the city being close to the Hoan Kiem lake and the Old Quarter. A walk to the famous Train Street was a highlight of our stay and definitely well worth the effort. My wife and I can’t praise the staff and the hotel enough and we would definitely go for a return visit if we could.

We stayed here for three nights on a big trip with multiple stops. It was brilliant! The hotel is beautiful, well furnished and staffed by professional, warm and hard working people. The quality of the food is outstanding and the breakfast buffet is outstanding. This hotel offers an oasis of the bustle of Hanoi.

Everything was perfect. Staff could not be more helpful and nice. Wide choice of restaurants and great food. Room was big and comfortable.

From the moment we arrived, we felt surrounded by genuine warmth and care. Your elegant interiors created a sense of comfort, but it was your people who made all the difference. Every smile, every thoughtful gesture—from the reception to the butler service—made us feel at home. A heartfelt thank-you to Trainer Justin, who brought so much energy and sincerity to our workouts every morning. His guidance, humor, and dedication inspired us and made each session something to look forward to. The food was wonderful, our sleep was peaceful, and every small request was met with immediate attention. Though Capella Hanoi is boutique in size, it delivers a world-class experience filled with heart, soul, and authenticity. We can’t wait to return and see all of you again—especially our friend Mr. Justin—in the summer of 2026.
