First time staying at this hotel having stayed at similar level places in Helsinki previously. Firstly location is great in terms of being very central. It was a few minutes walk from the central train station and no issue at all with a suitcase in tow. Check-in - staff were really friendly and accommodating for my room requests (eg preferring a quiet room away from elevators etc). Showed me a few different options on request and I ended up in 717 on the top floor. Room - I booked a Grand Studio of which they have a number of options all with different layouts. Size wise quite similar. I chose 717 as it was the quietest and on a top floor. Room was great although there was no luggage rack for the suitcase and storage for clothes was somewhat limited - can imagine for two people you’d struggle here. Bed was very comfy with a selection of pillows for every sleeping position. I did feel there was a privacy issue though - the room is overlooked by both opposite windows and the outside balcony of the rooftop bar, not many people go there but I did find on Friday / Saturday evening there were a few consistently up. The windows didn’t have privacy blinds/curtains so your only option was to lower the blackout blinds which wasn’t the best in the evening when you wanted natural light in the room. Bathroom - Bath and shower were great. Breakfast - Great tasty selection on the buffet, as well as cooked options to choose from via the menu. Can’t imagine there wouldn’t be something there for everyone. Location - walking distance to all of main central Helsinki. Electric scooters are a big thing there and there’s a ‘parking’ spot for them outside the hotel so you can grab one easily if you need to. If bars are your thing again lots around. It is in a livelier area though as you expect being central. So Friday / Saturday night whilst you can’t hear anything in your room, there’ll be people milling around not far from the entrance. Outside / Terrace bar - The food here was a bit of a let down unfortunately. The selection was quite limited, portions on the smaller side but the prices on the high side. Good location though so this could be easily improved. Staff - Very friendly and always happy to help or fulfil requests (like trying to find me a last minute local barber!). Shout out to Fernando who was especially helpful and made the check in experience top notch. Overall - Will definitely stay here again. I liked it was more spacious than Laplands all round, although not as quiet / secluded. I definitely felt I got more for my money in all aspects. Vs some of the boutique hotels eg Maria or F6 it depends what you’re after but I’d still go here.

The breakfast was an outstanding exprience. Staff is friendly and polite. We felt so spoiled and enjoyed the large variety of hand made and baked sweets and salts. Definately a king choice for starting the day.

From the moment we arrived, the warmth and professionalism of the hotel staff set the tone for a truly enjoyable stay. Raul welcomed us with a smooth and efficient check-in, thoughtfully walking us through all the essentials, from breakfast hours to amenities, making us feel instantly at ease. We also received a complimentary upgrade to a spacious room featuring a generously sized bathroom, complete with both a shower and a bathtub, a perfect touch of comfort after a day of travel. The hotel gym was another highlight, equipped with modern, well-maintained machines that made it easy to keep up with our fitness routine. One of the details we especially appreciated was the relaxed breakfast service, available well past 10am (I believe it was until 1pm !) This thoughtful feature allowed us to savour slow, unhurried mornings without the pressure of an early start. Overall, our stay exceeded expectations. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and look forward to returning ourselves. PS the city itself was an absolute delight and we're looking to forward to returning next summer.

A stunning hotel .. extremely smart decor and great food. Also really appreciated good advice from the concierge. A wonderful location close to the city centre .. the staff helpfully put us in a quiet room not overlooking the main street. The breakfast was excellent.. beautiful menu options.
