Had great hopes for my stay but missed my expectation due to poorly trainned staff.
Great location, well managed property. Check-in was poor, waited for a long time to get a room. Lobby lounge staff was not well trained and was unattenetive.

Superb hotel, service and location. Cleanliness and room superb. Well located for shopping and restaurants. Lacking a quiet bar for a drink... only in busy restaurant/bar adjacent to lobby.

I booked Park Hyatt Saigon via American Express Fine Hotels + Resorts for one night. At approximately 11:00 pm, the front desk informed me that visitors are not allowed after 10:00 pm. While I understand properties may have visitor policies for compliance and safety, this specific cutoff was not clearly disclosed on the booking page, in the confirmation email, or during check-in. That evening I met a friend in Ho Chi Minh City; I checked in alone and reasonably expected I could register my visitor upon return with an ID check if required. The rigid, no-alternative enforcement meant I did not use the room at all (the night was left empty) and I rebooked the Hilton next door, incurring additional expense and inconvenience. In a destination with active nightlife, returning after 11 pm is common. I respectfully suggest: (1) clear pre-arrival and check-in disclosure of the 10 pm visitor cutoff; (2) a late-night visitor registration option (ID verification).
