top notch hotel, superb service, and excellent rooms. this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. definitely highly recommended

Beautiful stately exterior and beautiful common areas but the room decor is lackluster and the furnishings not on par with the rest of the hotel. Overall staff was polite, courteous but seemed impersonal and lacked warmth except for Công who was always warm, cheerful and quick in helping us with taxi cabs and luggage. Excellent location. We enjoyed walking in the surrounding areas filled with luxury and high end shops and hotels.

Beautifully appointed, luxury experience in old Saigon. Service, restaurants, breakfast, location were all excellent.

Great hotel. An island in the city you don't want to leave. The Lounge is a great place to be. Wonderful breakfast and great food. Love the artwork and always so clean everywhere. Best hotel in Saigon

Ho Chi Minh was our first stop on a tour through Vietnam. The Park Hyatt Saigon provided a central location and a very comfortable place to relax and recover from the jet lag. On the whole, the service was friendly and attentive, despite a few minor bumps. Rooms were comfortable and the pool was amazing. Our stay at the Park Hyatt started with fast track service at the airport and a transfer to the hotel in a Mercedes S Class - all booked through the hotel. After disembarking, we met the Park Hyatt representative in the arrivals hall where we were escorted to a much shorter immigration line. Shortly thereafter, we met our driver and we were on our way - about 30 mins. The concierge was very helpful in arranging. We were arriving early and booked into a basic king bedroom, hoping that would increase our chances of an early check in. We were in luck. We were given a room that overlooked the street, which was pretty quiet despite the myriad of motor scooters whizzing by at all times of the day. The room itself was fairly large. The bed was firm, but comfortable, complete with down pillows and a down comforter. The white marble bathroom offered a combined tub and shower area, with hand held and a rain head - water pressure was good. Products were from Le Labo, standard for the Park Hyatt brand. Bath towels were large and very plush. In all, we were satisfied with the room and slept well. While the rooms were pleasant and well maintained, they are starting to show their age. The Park Hyatt location is excellent and within walking distances to many of Ho Chi Minh’s top sites. Luxury shopping is at your door step as well as many shopping malls and restaurants. One evening, we booked a jeep / food tour through the through hotel. It was a great was to see some of the city highlights, experience its cuisine and meet a local who could talk about life in Vietnam - we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Again, the concierge was very helpful in arranging. Given the temps in Ho Chi Minh, one of the Park Hyatt amenities that we enjoyed most was the large pool - an absolute delight! Lounge chairs and cabanas abound and pool assistants are there to help secure your place, bring towels, cocktails or anything else you might need. We had a few minor bumps at the Park Hyatt, but nothing major. Our early morning transfer to the airport was booked for the wrong time. But not to worry, the Park Hyatt quickly secured a taxi and paid out of pocket for it (apology accepted). At dinner one evening, some items never arrived, while we got two of others. In the end, items were easily removed from the bill with minimal discussion and the server offered up dessert on the house, which we declined (again, apology accepted).
