People make the difference
We stayed at the Island Shangrila Hotel in Hong kong for 14 days at the Horizon floor. The service was excellent, food good, room and view very much to our appreciation. However, we like to thank Chloe Look especially. She went up and beyond for us. She was always happy to help us when we needed some help fi with ‘how does alipay work, hiw do we book train tickets, what do we encouter when biarding the train etc etc or made the birthday of my husband a happy one far away from home. Next to that she was also fun to talk to. Thank you very much Chloe!!

Wonderful Surprises at Island Shangri-la, Hong Kong
I am writing to express my appreciation for my family’s recent stay at Island Shangrila. As always, Shangrila provided my granddaughter with wonderful surprises. She was absolutely delighted and has not stopped telling everyone how much she enjoyed her time there. This is largely thanks to the attentive care from the FAMEX team. A great place to stay on recent business trip
An excellent experience. I find that Shangri La achieves the right balance between friendliness and professionalism and this blend was exhibited from Jonathan at check- in all the way through to Charisse who organised the departure taxi. The room was quiet and bed comfy. I enjoyed the Horizon Club, pool and spa. I like the location, in a quieter elevated position, but still only five minutes by taxi from Central or 15-20 mins walk. Spotless cleaning in the room and communal areas.

Best family-friendly hotel
we had the best time celebrating our son’s second birthday and he couldn’t be happier. Thanks to all the very friendly and helpful staff for making our cosy and remarkable. The themed tram room is surely magical. It is thoughtfully designed that perfectly outlines all the special things about Hong Kong yet very childproof!

Great service
We had a wonderful team, the concierge team Ella and Mia were great, and made magic happen. My husband needed a suit pressed and they got it done speedily. Even provided us a most beautiful fairy room to get prepared for a wedding event. Henry from the front desk team provided us with an upgrade for a more spacious room for our family, which was greatly appreciated and enjoyed by the kids. It is now the kids' favorite hotel and we'll have to be back!
