An amazing family experience
We had an amazing time at the Island Shangri-la this month! Staying on the family floor was an absolute dream for our daughter. The rooms are so thoughtfully decorated and the amenities on the floor—pantry room with laundry, snack bar, play room with daily classes—made it so we never wanted to leave the hotel! The dedicated concierge goes above and beyond. Thank you again to Joy, Ella, Celina and Tyniz for making every single detail so amazing for us! The hotel in general has a great pool with a kids splash pad area, spa and multiple restaurants. The breakfast buffet was a standout. We really loved our time here and will definitely be back.

Dream getaway for family
This is our second time staying in the family floor, and probably won’t be the last. The layout of our room has kids and families in mind but instead of being childish, everything is setup and decorated with an exquisite and warm taste. Not only our kid enjoyed it but we also felt like children again during our stay. There are plenty of services in the floor -food, play area, laundry - are in the hotel -superb outdoor pool and gym-. The breakfast at TOO is one of the best we had and the location is great to explore the city.

An exceptional Stay at Island Shangri-la, Hong Kong
We stayed for almost two weeks at the Island Shangri- La due to some emergency renovation work at home. It was a very stressful time and we hadn't packed for a long stay but the wonderful staff there had looked after all our needs. Upon arrival, not only was our room upgraded but they had also placed air purifiers in our room as they knew of our allergy conditions. The newly renovated horizon club room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Throughout the stay, we were very well looked after by Ms Vivien Law and Ms Tiffany Ching and their team. Big thanks to Eric Tang who was always there to greet us even when we got back pretty late at night and Sonia who had serviced our room for most of the stay. Joyce and Dave of the Horizon club were very friendly and provided great service.

Every engagement with the various teams from the front door men, to reception, housekeeping, restaurant and the fitness center were exceptional. Very attentive, efficient, caring and kind. When you meet a staff member not matter what department they are from in the elevator, they exude gratefulness that we choose The Shangri -la hotel as our home in Hong Kong. We travel often, Island Shangri-la is our favorite hotel in the world. It is extraordinary and rare to stay in a hotel where their mission to be excellent at everything you do. Looking forward to our next stay.

The best place for family vacation with outdoor swimming pool, awesome room view, delicious breakfasts, very cosy Summer gourmet place for tea/coffee and restaurants for dinner. Special thanks for staff for feeling great everywhere in the hotel!
