Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong

Best family friendly hotel I have been. The whole 45th floor is a kid theme floor and I would definitely recommend it. Truly a great experience !

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel , we have visited many Shangrila hotels over the years but this was by far the best , We stayed in the horizon club rooms on 52 nd floor with harbour view… The courtesy and professionalism was outstanding , especially from the manager Miss Chloe Look , Thankyou ! Her staff were also very attentive , Gordon and Reiner greeted us most evenings with a glass of champagne We will hopefully be returning in October this year … Thankyou so much

​I visited the Lobby Lounge at Island Shangri-La today with a friend for afternoon tea, and I am compelled to share how impressed I was by the world-class service we received. ​The level of attentiveness here is truly on another level. While chatting with my friend, we happened to mention that we’d love to sit in one of the cozy booth seats on our next visit. To our complete surprise, a staff member overheard our conversation and proactively arranged for us to move to a booth shortly after! It is rare to find a team that listens so closely to their guests' unspoken preferences. ​A special shout-out to Jennie, who was incredibly warm and proactive. She noticed our tea had arrived and immediately offered to take photos for us, capturing some lovely memories. Later, a gentleman from the team also checked in on us to ensure we were satisfied with the food. ​Speaking of the food—it was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Every member of the staff we encountered exhibited a professional and friendly attitude that made our afternoon truly special. ​If you are looking for an afternoon tea experience on Hong Kong Island where you will feel genuinely cared for, I cannot recommend the Lobby Lounge enough. We had an absolutely wonderful experience with the Family Experience Team at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong. Their level of care, attention, and genuine warmth truly stood out throughout our stay. Special mention to Joy, Ella and Raya! They went above and beyond in looking after our daughter, keeping her engaged, happy, and well cared for, which made a huge difference to our overall experience as a family. It was clear that they not only enjoy what they do but are incredibly thoughtful in how they connect with children. A special highlight was the beautiful birthday celebration they organized for our daughter. Every detail was handled with such care and creativity, making it a truly memorable and magical occasion for her and for us as parents as well. We are deeply grateful for their kindness and professionalism. The team created lasting memories for our family, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend them to others traveling with children.

We had a wonderful 3-day-stay at the Island Shangri-La! We stayed on the 45th floor in a family room and it was just the most perfect environment to stay in with a 3-year-old with all the amenities. The staff was also great, especially Joy from them Family Experience Team was so loving and helpful! I would highly recommend staying here if you have young children.
