Kid friendly and excellent service
Location: Directly on top of Pacific Place mall and Admiralty station. Super close to Central! Atmosphere: Old, but elegant. Very clean and iconic Rooms: We stayed at a themed room on the 45th kids floor and it was whimsical, clean and had complete amenities. Dyson hairdryer too, with all you can eat meals at the common pantry. Plus 4pm there's free ice cream! There is also an area where you can borrow all kinds of kids amenities such as UV sterilizer, baby bottles, stroller etc. Value: Our room package came with buffer breakfast, themed (with slide and harbour view) overall it was expensive but a very worthy experience. Noise level: since we were at the kids floor, can hear the shrieks and laughter or crying of kids outside the main floor. But as a mom I don't mind. Also our room was near the elevator so could hear the toy train going around. Service: we were assisted early on by the Family experience team Joy and Ella during the evening and Yoko + Raya in the morning. All 4 ladies were so attentive and even remembered my child's name. Making her feel comfortable always. Also at buffet breakfast, service was top notch, fast clean up for dirty plates and fast refill of the dimsum

Our Hong Kong Staycation, home from home
The Island Shangri-La IS our home from home and for good reason. The staff are amazing, special mention to Sarah, Chloe and Nicolas and his team at Petrus and to Kitty and Clarence at the Spa. We enjoyed an incredible dinner at Petrus, followed by breakfast, again at Petrus with the most incredible views towards Kowloon. Our room was lovely, newly renovated harbor view horizon room. Shower is especially good, it really is. We enjoyed drinks at the club lounge and the wonderful Chloe looked after us brilliantly. As we live in the new territories a stay on the island is truly a mini vacation, and the ISL is our go to option. Amazing property, we love it, will keep going back.

Fanatic weekend retreat
Great location, Great atmosphere. The hotel is interconnected with pacific place shopping mall, so everything is within walking distance. Public areas are very clean and well maintained. Hotel staffs are nice and welcoming. Room service quality have improved a lot since our last visit. Our kids love their caravan room on the 45th floor, and will surely come back in the future!!

Best hotel in HK for young families with kids
The location was very convenient and central. There are many nice restaurants inside and closed to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and professional. We were warmly welcomed by Gigi Yeung who did the check-in for us and recommended us the family room due to our 3 year old daughter. For family with young kids I definitely recommend the 45th kids floor. It’s a paradise for kids with lovely guest rooms, the common area “hangout” with cafe and play area as well as snacks for all. All staff members on the floor were very friendly, special thanks to Ella, Yoyo and Steven. The breakfast was delicious, they provided a huge variety of food and were kids-friendly as well, Umi always welcomed my daughter with a big smile and cute presents.
