The Langham Hong Kong

Stayed at The Langham with high expectations—but left with mixed feelings. Yes, the location is great and housekeeping staff were genuinely warm and courteous. But for a hotel of this price and reputation, the experience fell short where it mattered most. After a 10-hour red-eye flight, we were left waiting in the lobby from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM with limited seating and no proactive assistance—despite informing the hotel in advance of our early arrival. We only got access to a room after repeatedly requesting, as my daughter was suffering from a migraine due to lack of rest. The room itself felt dated, and to make matters worse, the toilet had flushing issues throughout the stay and completely failed on the last night—forcing us to use the bathroom in our second room at 5:00 AM. Reporting this at check-out was met with a standard response, with little sense of concern for the inconvenience caused. For a brand like The Langham, this was disappointing. Would I recommend it? Maybe—but with a clear disclaimer. This is not quite the experience you’d expect or be excited to share. ⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ (3/

We booked our stay on the executive level with access to the lounge facilities. Anna, toured us around the hotel and gave us personalized overview of the property , her heartfelt and gracious hospitality was much appreciated. We were checked in at the lounge , such a personalized experience and no waiting in the lobby . Skye , ensured to our comfort and did her upmost to accommodate us with our room specifications and expedited our check in and had our room ready earlier . The staff were extremely efficient in particular , Hebe extremely discreet , refined in her demeanor and gracious . Mary Gold always had a smile and could not do enjoy for her guests . The lounge has wonderful amenities, with wonderful offerings , Breakfast and certain à la carte options . We even had fresh juice , especially made for us . Jonathan was an outstanding host and during the aperitif hour in the evening ensured all the guests were well accommodated and coordinated effortlessly and communicated to his team and anticipated all our requests . Thank you to this stellar team . You made the experience above and beyond.

The langham delivered on all fronts, great staff, beautiful rooms and service that made us feel at ease at the end of a business trip. The location was great and it was easy to get around HK.

Hotel at an excellent location, with elegant room, and superb customer service. This is the first time I stay at Langham TST where I previously often stayed at the now called CORDIS. The Amex Platinum FHR experience makes it even more special. I certainly look forward to returning next time I am in Hong Kong. A shoutout to Mr. Wilson at the concierge /bell desk. Super helpful, courteous and very considerate.

the hotel had a visually nice interior design with good customer service from staff, i enjoyed having the breakfast buffets i had at the lobby and the convenience of the hotel's location. However, I had frequent heart palpitations in my room during the 3 days I stayed there with my relative and was constantly taking deep breaths. I believe it is a molding issue; we bought some freshly made snow skin dessert and rice cakes for breakfast one afternoon and left them on our counter for breakfast, the very next morning, the desserts were covered with long white hair and hair balls of other colors. I've never seen mold grow so fast. Unfortunately, we were in a rush to our next destination, so we never addressed it back then, but I believe this is a serious health hazard.
