The Peninsula Hong Kong

I booked via Fine Hotels & Resort & they honored my complimentary upgrade, breakfast for 2 & late checkout. The stay was beautiful. The staff is very helpful and nice. The bathroom was very spacious (I liked the shower) and the room was elegant. The hallway with the plenty of closet and drawers made it more relaxing. The work desk and separate vanity was also nice and I did use the work desk to take my zoom calls etc and it was helpful to feel I had a tidy space to do calls from. I enjoyed swimming in the pool almost everyday which was such a nice experience, always someone on duty for safety & the outdoor patio has to be the best view of the harbour (see pics) - anyone who gets to swim in an indoor pool with that view is lucky! I also used the spa facilities (hot tub, steam room) There’s also an awesome bar and restaurant on the top of the hotel which is so sexy and elegant for food and breathtaking views! The espresso machine is great. Only critique is room service is extremely expensive even with someone with an extra budget but I was encouraged to use with the FHR credit : i did have an issue with one dish (I’m the one with the pad Thai issue) but they understood and really went out of their way to resolve it and took it off my bill. I would recommend taking a re-evaluation on the pricing it’s even almost double the pricing of Beverly Hills location. I really like the convenient access to the ferry! I also loved the fresh expensive floral arrangements everyday!! Thanks everyone for a great stay. This review is a little late (don’t want the photos to go to waste) but I already recommended your hotel to a few people since! I will return!

5 star experience! I first would like to share how kind and accommodating the staff was. We had booked with the Amex platinum benefit and they were kind enough to give us a room for many hours after 4pm since we had a super late flight. Hotel is in a prime location and the amenities are stunning. My only critiques are on the room itself: our room was very dark and sometimes had a strange odor from the air conditioning.

We've stayed here twice now and it's rapidly become one of our favourites in the world. Wonderful views from the upper rooms and the Felix bar to what is possibly the most impressive skyline anywhere, and fantastic service from hoardes of attentive and friendly staff. Wonderfully located near museums and cultural centres. The rooms are opulent and some might find them glitzy but this is a hustle and bustle grand-tour style hotel. The rooms are however quiet and peaceful. Amazing attention to detail with the flowers and vases on display and overall a wonderful aesthetic. If you want to know you've arrived then this is the hotel for you. The most amazing pool too! Guests generally seem to know this is a good place and and are mostly quieter discreet couple and business types.

We stayed for four nights with a room overlooking the Courtyard (excellent choice) with breakfast. Arriving at Hong Kong we booked one of the hotel Rolls Royce’s to collect, fabulous experience, and the way to travel, of course! On arrival at the hotel team were there to meet us, and we were shown to our room directly where the check-in process took place, what a great touch! The room was of a classic feel and look, loads of space, and as expected, design and decor from an era, but still timeless. There is consul by the bedside, open and close blinds and curtains, air temp, and much more. Breakfast, very nice, many options, very grand, room and decor to match an event each time, highly recommend. Location, perfect, shops, Star Ferry, trains, tourist locations, just right. The people, the team in the hotel are excellent, from those who meet you at the airport, the driver, the checking in team, the team that makes your room, fabulous. We used the hotel as a base from break, but could have stayed within the four walls just enjoying everything the Peninsula had to offer. And before I forget, the Spa and swimming pool up on the eighth floor, very relaxing, and an area looking out across the harbour, again, fabulous. Absolutely wonderful!
