The Upper House

This hotel experience was incredible! I stayed here for work and it was both luxurious and practical. I had enough space in my room to work comfortably while enjoying my stay. The bath, in-room yoga mat and the hot yoga on offer, allowed me to relax when I had any breaks. The bar and dining experience on site is also amazing and I would definitely recommend heading there for a night in.

The team is outstanding, lead by a fantastic GM, Kristina Snaith-Lense. The hotel itself is perfectly located, has a small boutique feel, a great breakfast room with a nice menu and fabulous views. We were upgraded to a larger room which was much appreciated during our 3 night stay. Mini bar at no charge is a nice touch. Housekeeping was thorough. I can not recommend this hotel enough. It lacks a large lobby where you can have high tea or people watch, but we were too busy exploring to even care. I will recommend this to all my friends / associates. Truly a special hotel. Thank you team for a great stay.

We've been wanting to stay at The Upper House for so long and it was the PERFECT mid-way point from Europe. The service was amazing, the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are so well designed and they have thought of EVERYTHING. Pillows exceptional, bath exceptional, views exceptional, food exceptional. Our stay was short but we will be back. I'd recommend to anyone going to Hong Kong.

SENSATIONAL We arrived at Upper House on the very last night of a 2 week China trip. We had an introduction to the brand at our stay in Shanghai and so happy that we did!. The properties are all outstanding and the customer service is probably one of the best in the world. Edward was waiting to greet us on arrival. The trip was to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and Edward had gone to the trouble of finding a wedding pic and framing it for us in our room - an extra special touch. The team had handmade a card and there were balloons and a banner waiting for us. The biggest wonderful surprise was that we had been upgraded to a suite. A series of rooms that was literally a mini apartment. Views with floor to ceiling windows of the whole Hong Kong harbour - there are literally no words and it was truly an extra special treat. Edward stayed in touch through our stay making sure we had everything we needed including reservations and directions. When it came to leave - we didn't want to go! Edward was waiting with a final gift of some running bits for my husband. They had taken the time to notice he is a runner and the attention to detail is unreal. I normally talk about beds, general comfort - size of room. At Upper House in the suite we had there is nothing to fault. The bed was super comfy, Sheets luxurious. The bath & shower both fabulous and we had a living room which was a great asset as our flight was not until 11pm. Location is good - next to a shopping centre and right near a metro station so well connected for the whole city. Thanks to Edward and the team at Upper House for the wonderful welcome and every little detail which did not go unoticed.
