Our room’s sweeping harbour view was breathtaking, especially at sunset when the city became a glittering jewel box. The minimalist design maximized space and serenity beautifully. Facilities exceeded expectations: the sunrise yoga session was pure bliss, and breakfast quality was exceptional. Every detail—from seamless check-in to thoughtful turndown treats—showcased genuine hospitality. This sanctuary above the city makes every moment feel special. The iconic 'Green Room' at the Upper House Hong Kong just hosted my daughters wonderful 16th birthday party! With the incredible Hong Kong harbor views, the awesome DJ on site, wonderful flowers and thoughtful menu, the girls had nothing left to worry about other than having a great time! The Upper House Hong Kong is by far my favorite hotel in the world. The 5-star experience starts even before you arrive. The staff help with airport transfers, dinner reservations, and give really useful tips. From the moment you’re picked up at the airport, you feel like you’re coming back to a home away from home, and check-in is done right in your room, so you don’t have to wait in a busy lobby. The rooms are spacious, stylish, and always impeccably clean (and made ready by the time you get back from breakfast). They’re incredibly comfortable, and the daily-restocked “maxi bar” is a nice touch. After a busy day in the city, the quiet and privacy are perfect. The à la carte breakfast is excellent, with great coffee, and definitely worth booking with your room. The location is ideal, on Hong Kong Island in Central, so it’s easy to explore the city. But what really makes Upper House special is the staff. They’re warm, attentive, and really make every stay feel personal. I’ve been coming here since 2018, and I honestly can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Hong Kong.

There is a reason this hotel is constantly ranked amongst the best in the world. It is hard to imagine a better experience anywhere, let alone in Hong Kong. We’ve been staying here for business and pleasure for 20 years, and in the best possible way, nothing has changed - if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, but somehow they manage to keep improving on perfection.
