The Upper House

We had the most incredible staycation at The Upper House. To start, we had a personalised and effortless check in with the wonderful Edward Tang, who met us as we came out of the taxi and whisked us straight up to our suite. Our harbour view suite was so spacious and I could sit there staring at the view endlessly - there’s always something new to look at. The bed is sooo comfortable, I slept like a log. In the morning I had a luxurious warm bath with a view and the huge vanity area of the bathroom makes a mundane morning routine into a delight. We were given lots of lovely gifts throughout our stay from the most comfortable PJ sets to smart monogrammed razors. We enjoyed delicious cocktails with a view at Salisterra in the evening and the amazing breakfast the following morning. My partner raved about his full English after two weeks of a lot of local food in HK. A big thank you to Nick Moore and his team for such attentive service! And finally at check out, we had the fabulous Paul Stanton assist us. Whilst we were checking out, someone in his team swiftly came over to us to pass us a couple of phone charging cables we had forgotten in the suite - such a thoughtful gesture. Paul then personally waved down a taxi and saw us off. All in all, a very special experience I couldn’t recommend more for a special occasion or a luxurious base from which to explore one of the greatest cities on earth!

It's been some time since I was last at Upper House Hong Kong and it has been close to 10 years since I started to stay with Upper House Hong Kong. Staying at this hotel has always been something I looked forward to. Even though it has been close 10 years, the hotel has never failed to provide me with small pleasant surprises. There is also a sense of familiarity which brings comfort after so many years. This familiarity comes from the same faces who truly gets to know you, your personality and your preferences. The familiarity also comes from knowing the exact spot to lie down on the sofa to ensure a good afternoon snooze. It is good to see the bar brimming with energy and activity this trip which is truly uplifting.

The Upper House is one of my favorite hotels in Hong Kong. The design is elegant, the rooms are spacious and well laid out, and the service is personal and warm. My room was beautifully appointed, with gorgeous views of the Peak and thoughtful touches throughout. What sets Upper House apart, though, is the team. They truly care about each guest and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

This is our third stay at Upper House. We are regular global travellers for both business and pleasure. Upper House was really our type of hotel. You tick all the boxes.From the minimalist reception up the escalator and then wow, the rooms, so spacious, so clean. Room service so fast. Staff are really wonderful

I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else on my next visit such an exceptional hotel with amazing service, facilities and a team that create magical guest experiences.
