About the Hotel
The Upper House is a highly individualized small luxury hotel designed by Hong Kong architect Andre Fu. The hotel’s 117 rooms including 21 suites and 2 penthouses, start at 730 square feet, the largest in Hong Kong. Rooms and suites feature wonderfully spacious bathrooms and dressing areas, and offer either scenic harbour or island views. Calming and contemporary, the rooms are designed to provide a sense of relaxation, warmth and understated luxury. Bespoke service, well-crafted natural materials and a design aesthetic based around the ‘Upward Journey’ creates a timeless serenity that flows through the different rooms of our House.

Felt genuinely cared and thanks for all the thoughful gestures
We truly had a memorable experience. During my pregnancy, the team was incredibly considerate. They replaced all alcoholic drinks in our in-room bar and thoughtfully placed the anti-slip mat in the bathroom. These small but meaningful touches made us feel genuinely cared for and warmly welcomed. We were especially touched by the beautiful preparations and thoughtful gifts for both our anniversary celebration and the upcoming arrival of our baby. It was heartwarming to see how much attention was given to making our stay special. A particular highlight was the dinner at The Continental. We were pleasantly surprised that the staff not only helped us with the reservation but also shared our anniversary celebration with the restaurant team. That gesture made the evening even more special and truly unforgettable. The warmth and hospitality extended by the team made all the difference, we are sincerely grateful. We will definitely return in the future.

The room is perfect for us and very clean. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is very stunning.🤩 The staff is very friendly and helpful 👍🏼. The breakfast is so delicious 😋.

Upper house is excellent! Edward arranged a wonderful room for us. The view is absolutely stunning, and the location is perfect. We also really enjoyed the breakfast — it was delicious and very fresh! Highly recommended!

wonderful stay
It was a very pleasant stay. From the moment we entered, everyone was very friendly and enthusiastic. They offered to help with our luggage and the check-in process was very efficient. They also proactively introduced the facilities and equipment in the room. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel's location was great and it was very convenient to go anywhere from there. Finally, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Edward for providing us with such high-quality service during our stay.
